Hi
I know the website says the phone line isn't open until 26th Feb but the booklet out of the paper says the 18th Feb so I thought I would give it a try.
First few times it said busy and then it rang and there was a 'all our callers are busy we will get to you asap' message.
Finally spoke to a helpful lady who confirmed I had been allocated a holiday at Presthaven Sands (2nd choice yay!) but couldn't give me the dates. The confirmation is sent out by the park apparently. She did give me the phone no of the park though so they were able to confirm it is for 18th September and said they would send out the confirmation with the breakdown of charges (not payable until end of July).
Hope this helps - if you are keen to know, give 'em a call!

Anybody else a bit narked how they add on the extra fee's.
i sent off apx £60 and not they need another £60 for guest passes, linen and power.
Fair enough its only £20 per person its not really the £9.50 break that was advertised.0 -
All the extra charges were on the website. The same is for the european hols they are doing now. All say free entertainment passes, but they all need to add £6 or £6.50 per night service charge - all written in very smallprint. I think the said it would have been cheaper or free if you'd ticked the box for taking any park in a particular area.0

I think if you do any in the area you are charged no more than a certain price which was cheaper than the normal prices. We put down an area on both of ours. On our first one we got our Second choice (Littlesea) on the other we have had nothing through even though the cheques were both cleared on the same day. Gonna phone from work tomorrow see what they sayNever give up the dream! :beer:0 -

Linen is optional, we usually take our own which saves about £20.0 -

when you read the park list printed in the paper it states underneath every park the service charges and entertainment pass prices for that park - some of the parks are cheaper than others some don't charge for the passes there free. you can also cut costs by taking your own linen. finally got round to calling our park today to ask about extending our holiday by one day. Then we'd leave Sat and that meant OH won't have to ahve a day off to collect us!! Can't book one days until nearer the time cos they're still taking bookings for short breaks. Instead we've extended the holiday by 3 nights, so we now start on Easter Saturday stay for 7 nights. Cost us £55 so total cost of holiday is now appox £150 which i think is pretty good for weeks holiday in kids school holidays, esp as our orginal short break at this park (mon- fri) is £199.0

Hiya,
Well I am well chuffed, my nan saved the tokens up gave me them four days before the closing date..and well sent them off recorded delivery..day before closing date for 3 kids and 2 adults - cost of £47.50..received a letter back last Saturday confirming I have a four night break at Golden Sands in Mablethorpe on 30th March...free entertainment passes and a total of £24.50 left to pay.
Anyhow I rang to pay the balance..at the same time I requested having another adult and child added on to the booking, she said thats fine..I will just transfer you to a bigger caravan...I was waiting for the price to increase however she said to me..thats a balance of £16 for your original party and a further £20 for the others who are coming with you!! I thought what a bargain, paid what she requested..said my thanks and put phone down..will definately do this again :j
However I have received my welcome pack via email...just waiting on the actual confirmation to come through.
So for a total of £83.50 a party of 4 kids and 3 adults get a four night break with free passes...What a bargain :T:eek: Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0 -
