I've just had email confirmation of holiday fron Parkdean. But they are including entertainment passes in the costing. I used my voucher code for free entertainment passes when I booked.

Has anyone else had this heppen to them?

Can anyone give me some advice please.....

We have been given 1st choice dates on our second choice park - (I sent the tokens on the first possible posting day if that helps anyone).

What are the standard caravans like? We are going to Haven Greenacres in June and it would be an extra £40 for a Luxury caravan or £72 for a luxury plus for the 4 nights as there are only 2 of us it's quite a lot.:o

I have looked at the accom. photos on the site but it's quite hard to tell you can't really zoom on the photos for a better look to compare them! The the only difference with the luxury one seems to be that it's more modern and the Luxury Plus does have 20% more space and a microwave which would be great but £72 still seems a lot - could buy a microwave to take for £20!!!! lol!!

So I just would like to know what the standard ones are generally like at Haven sites?

Any feedback appreciated.

Upgrade, standard are not very nice. We've been to Haven for last 8 years. Luxury for 2 of you should be fine. X

I had my confirmation today but they've allocated me to a park I didn't pick. Not too happy as the one they've given me has some really awful reviews online and is a bit far from the area we wanted to visit

We went to Greenacres a few years ago and it was lovely. I wouldn't jump into upgrading as I remember getting quite a new caravan anyway.
The beach down the road from there can be driven straight onto and our son had his first go at driving on there

are you sure it was available for the park you chose ???

not all sites could be used with the free passes could they ?

I got my confirmation today from Butlins. We are going to Skegness in June. Not sure I want to go there now, LOL as we went there last year, and a weekend was more than enough. I certainly would not pay £10 a head for food as the kids do not each that much while we are there and that will be £40. We can certainly do better than that - and we only end up eating whatever is there just for the sake of it.

You cannot upgrade to Gold but you can to Silver.

Ah well, £170 for 3 nights break if we go into Silver. I've stayed in standard before and it was grubby. Has anything changed?

Standard are fine, i wouldnt pay £70 odd to upgrade its a waste of money, you may even be put into a luxury anyway, we have in the past, but standard has been fine.

I haven't had mine yet but my cheque was cleared 3 weeks ago :-(

I just thoud sod it and rung parkdean and we got our 1st choice week and our 1 choice park 29th June in Newquay I can't believe it I am NEVER this lucky! I recommend you give a call - they confirmed it but me letter doesn't go out til next week!
