I'll thank you, Conor, to refrain from assuming and then stating as apparent fact, that I am engaging in an illegal act!!
You do not know me, and are making wild assumptions and assertions about my character!!

If you cannot answer a simple question, then I will also thank you to leave this thread alone!
AFAIK what Conor first stated was correct, it has no basis on your character, but rather what you stated as fact.

You then stated that Conor was taking the 'moral high-ground and simply digging themselves into a hole?!? ' When he wasn't doing either, he was protecting you.
Ghosting a hard-drive is legal because, as you will know, hard-drives are prone to failure, and also can be prevented from booting when one single error occurs, thus having to use the ghost image.

Considering the fact that Conor was, in effect, accusing me of an illegal act (namely "Why is it that certain !!!!s in here keep trying to justify their illegal copying and downloading?"), I feel Conor was making an assumption and also feel justified in my response.
As for ghosting, there is nothing to stop someone ghosting a hard-drive and then using it on another machine to effectively make a copy of there hard-drive for someone else.
I am well aware of the Copyright and the penalties of infringing it, but was simply asking the question to find out what equipment would be needed in order to get all the games onto one cartridge, if indeed, it was even possible (see also post 8).
Conor seems to have grasped the incorrect end of the bit of wood.
Also on this thread, another post was asking virtually the same question (post 14) but, bizarrely, with no-one mentioning copyright, simply giving an answer.

Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.

There were no assumptions, you are asking information about how to do something illegal.
but was simply asking the question to find out what equipment would be needed in order to get all the games onto one cartridge, if indeed, it was even possible (see also post 8).
Yet it seems to me that you do, in fact, have a grandson, and you've gone past researching if this is possible, but are looking into items on amazon.

Of course Amazon stands that the cartidge's are legal. However Nintendo have said all cartidge's are illegal as they hack into the firmware when booting.

Me personally, I am not trying to take the moral high-ground, having 2 of those cards myself

This is by far the easiest option: http://www.teamcyclops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1942

A relatively simple answer to a simple question.

It's legal to make backups in america, but not in england, because of copyright laws, the same stupid laws that make it illegal for importers to sell sony's hardware and software despite the PS3 being region free and the laws that make it illegal to mod a console you own to PLAY imported games.

But yes, copying the games, be it for backup or not is illegal, even if you own the game. I think it's similar to computer software. You have a license to install the software on a specified number of machines. In terms of the games, you have the license to use it from that one card on your console and that's it.
