Is CSA1 an exact science? (if so where can I get a copy of the formula) -merged-

Actually I don't want to know. I really couldn't give a toss about you and your marriage woes.
I really don't give a toss about your case either. I corrected some information that you had posted for the good of the other users of this board, posters or not and you decided to pick holes in things again.
I'm so over your story to be honest and the reason I quoted you was becasue it had been you that had posted the info. If it had been someone else I would have quoted them.0 -

You recently worked out a CSA 1 assessment for me. Do I need to include my partners pay details when I send everything in - I am getting conflicting reports and not sure what to do?
It won't make any difference to start with - they won't give you any discount you may otherwise be entitled to if you don't give your partner's details. If she works and earns less than you then I would say that it would be in your interest to provide her details. If she earns more than you then I would refuse and see if the ex applies for a departure.0 -
OK thanks. So was the assessment that you did for me based on my salary alone then?0

I can't remember!!!!0

If you still have the message, PM it to me and I will say!0

Cant find the message so figures as follows:-
My net £300 per week
partner - around £280 per week
council tax - £132 for 10 months
pension - £164 per month
mortgage £600 per month at an interest rate of 5.98% (interest £446 per month)
no children at home and paying for one six year old.0 -
Hi Kelloggs
Are you able to reply to my PM of 5.55pm yesterday?0 -
Can do later today!!!0

Sorry Kelloggs to sound impatient but at my wits end at the moment with CSA. I cleared my arrears of £4,000 on Saturday and they still did a DEO for more than 50% of my net pay this week.
Thanks0 -
Sorry to be late, but as I am teaching during the day, I don't get on here as much as I used to!!!
Your partner details won't impact the assessment at all - it would still be about £50 per week. As she earns less, it will be worth giving the details as IF the PWC applies for a departure on the grounds that housing costs can be apportioned, then it will be less than 50% awarded to the partner (not far off though). Don't worry at this stage though.0
