Is CSA1 an exact science? (if so where can I get a copy of the formula) -merged-

  • I am on the case now & getting letter written up. I'll send the appeal forms out tomorrow as well.

Kelloggs, thanks ever so much for your help, I have decided to have legal take over once I receive a reply. I really think I am out of my depth here & i think i'd only make a mess of it otherwise.
The CSA is unjust, oppressive and discriminates men. If you tell me otherwise then 2 and 2 is 5, and you have a Ph.D in rendering bovine fecal matter.

I agree - I don't want you to take it the wrong way! You need to make sure you have ALL the facts before you jump in.

If you are going to give out advice OP, please ensure it is correct as there are lots of people who read this board but don't neccesarily post and could think the information you post is as read.

Whilst it is no illegal to tape a conversation that you are involved in, it is illegal to play it to a 3rd party without the other person's consent. Which you have done.

They dont play nursery rhymes for the fun of it. All calls may be recorded or monitored for staff training purposes.

I agree and if it came across in a harsh way then it actually wasn't my intention. My worry was that someone could read such a a vital piece of information and use it against their own personal circumstances. The problem with written text is that you can put tone on it!

EDIT - clearly Mothballed is going to be childish and churlish now for which I am going to ignore. The information about calls was given to me in a line of work I do in my second job which would actually have no effect on anyone's changeover from CSA1 to CSA2. I have asked for clarification on this obviously as the information given on here would have an inpact on the self employed work I do.

I see. And you said that to the CSA officers that you taped beforehand did you? Yet again you are not reading my posts correctly. I know that they say that when you call and that is so that the call can be used in a legal manner or played to a 3rd party.

The CSA did it themselves - by way of a pre-recorded caveat that is played while I am queued to speak to an officer. They also gave intent they will play it to a 3rd party namely staff training, so I can also freely use it in an investigation provided the caveat is retained.

I can even make the tapes over for a criminal investigation if I wanted to, and have it transcripted (minus any surnames) and publish it on the internet.

Yes they can use it for staff training as they have advised you that your call would be taped. Not the other way around.

You do what you want Mothballed as you have no doubt done your entire life. I have my opinion on you (and I would no doubt you have on me) and why your wife would walk out on a seemingly opulent life to live with someone else.
You are picking up on something that I said merely as I corrected 2 wrong statements that you said 'you had to do to get from CSA1 to CSA2'. If I am wrong them I am wrong. I am not however posting information that gives potential people hope of moving a case which I feel is a much bigger travesty than someone picking holes in something when they are playing 'Columbo'.

I see that you are putting this in the hands of your lawyer now. Happy for you.:D

You are quick to pre-judge. If you really must know, it's a matter beyond my control.

Our marriage was fine until she developed laziness. Previously she often worked on the farm and cooked meals and managed the staff PAYE etc (until an auditor found irregularities and advised me to use a qualified bookkeeper). There came a point her willingness to be part of the family suddenly ended – just like that. I had no meals provided and the house was looking unkempt so I hired a domestic. I had no catering for my workforce, so I was sending a bloke into town to pick up fish & chips for the gang. On school visit days she didn't get out of bed after being up all night on the internet. Local school children and their teachers come onto the farm during lent, see the animals and learn how we produce the crop they see on the supermarket shelf. There is nothing more satisfying seeing a child's face light up when they take the wheel of a ten-ton tractor!

I was falsely accused of child molestation and that really hurt, I was arrested charged and made to stand in the dock accused of abusing my own children! They were very young and didn’t understand why I had to leave the home. It came to head when my eldest privately told a CAFCASS officer they had been told I had assaulted their mother. The lie was discovered, but CAFCASS chose to side with their mother. Police warned she will be arrested and charged under the Criminal Law Act 1967 and the Perjury Act 1911 if she withdrew testimony, so I paid the price for the heinous crime of having a normal family life.

It was later discovered her sudden disinterest in the family and the business is she had secretly developed a habit of playing online games, supervising an internet chat room and meeting men from the internet. She had become an internet junkie and her world was enveloped by cyberspace. She would not get dressed until passed midday and salted away thousands of pounds from the business. She could have come to me for help and I could have done something about it, instead she chose to shack up with a hippie benefit fraudster coke-snorting car mechanic (I can’t think of nicer words to describe him) and colluded with a battered wives group (who I think acted in good faith) and plotted to have me forcibly removed from the family unit. Before my arrest, one of her (now ex) boyfriends was known to me because he & his mate stole a dumper-truck from the farm and took it on a drunken rampage in some pointless stunt, and my own children are being brought up thinking its funny to steal from their father.

  • Hello Kelloggs

You recently worked out a CSA 1 assessment for me. Do I need to include my partners pay details when I send everything in - I am getting conflicting reports and not sure what to do?
