i think you need to address the insomnia sally, as it is going to affect you, when did it start, cant remember if you said?

what is your bedroom like, no not being nosy, but soothing colours will help, and coloured lighbulbs can also help such as light pink, light green etc

good ventilation helps in the bedroom too as stuffiness can be cause for waking up a lot

Try not to worry about not sleeping as this will make you even more less tired, hard i know:rolleyes:

I would say have a wind down period before bed, no reading, no telly and no comps:rotfl: have a nice relaxing bath, with essentials oils is good as this relaxs you, try and cut out caffeine, well it could help:D

Good essentail oils to help people sleep are lavender, marjoram, chamomile, nutmeg, benzoin, clary-sage, vetiver, hops and valerian

If using in a bath, remember no more than 3 drops, too much and they will become a stimulant, or you could use a diffuser overnight in your bedroom

    Try this body rub:

2 drops of either clary-sage, vetiver, valerian or lavender in 5ml vegetable oil

    xx

has anyone here got a small netbook i am thinking of getting one but dont know a good one or not
  • Hey, i know how it feels. I'm an insomniac too. It started when I was pregnant (LO is 9 months old now) although I've suffered in the past. I'm lucky to get 2 hours sleep a night which is obviously distressing me a lot. I just can't sleep and I've tried EVERYTHING. You are not alone!

Hey, we live in the same area too. Maybe it's something in that West Midlands air ;)

    Big hugs xxxxxxx
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small
