You taken anything for it??? Nothing really that you can take for a cough, although this goes hand in hand with a cold, a wicked sore throat & now just for the joy of it - earache! I'm drinking hot drinks as they soothe my throat more than cold & having the odd Beechams Hot Berry Fruits drink which helps with the runny nose & other cold symptoms!
Try Gaviscon, could be heartburn coming up as a cough? Never had that before, I'm quite sure this is a cough though
Just a suggestion you could get second opinion on?? I think my doc is pretty hard pushed with all the really ill people around at the moment & I take enough of their time with my thyroxine repeats every 8 weeks :rotfl: don't like to be a bother when they have more important stuff to work on

Seen the doctor?? Not about this as it will hopefully just go if I can keep my fluids up & now I'm thinking of taking a few days off so I stay in 1 temperature rather than changing temps.
He should refer you to hospital for tests to find out whats wrong I think it is just this really nasty cough/cold virus that has been going around. Apparently the cough hangs around for about 3 weeks, I've had it since 27th so that will be 2 weeks on Saturday so I'm hoping I'll be over the worst of it!

I was thinking you were in the doghouse for something, so you were kipping on the sofa!! :rotfl: Nah, wouldn't be me down here it would be the BF. Although actually he'd probably just kip in the spare room. Would have to be something pretty bad though as we are quite good really, hardly argue, just maybe discuss quite energetically :rotfl:

I got memory foam mattress just before xmas, had best nights sleep ever for the first few days, then went back to not being able to sleep again! Oh crikey, any ideas what causes it? Did you also get good quality pillows when you changed your bed as I have heard that can be the cause of problems x

But i don't mind as much now, just use the time to enter comps!! :T I think I'd quickly turn into a gibbering wreck as I do need my sleep & can't imagine how I'd be able to cope. Well, actually I have a bit of an idea after limited sleep last Thursday night due to the cough & then going into work on the Friday. Ended up with sort of swirly squiggels in fron of my eyes, which I think was down to tiredness as I haven't had alcohol over Christmas so it can't have been that!

came down this morning and the house is cooking:eek: normally the heaters are on between 3-4 as they come on, had to turn it down to 2 and they are still on, must be the new pump we got last night, wonder if that is why we go through £50 in 2 weeks, be great if it was cheaper:rolleyes:

dh finishing off bathroom tiles today, got 8 left to do, he is borrowing a tile cutter off a mate today to do it

So behind on comps it's unbelievable! Haven't even done any ending today and have to go to work :mad: going to have to have a major catch up tonight and at the weekend!! Have managed to pass lots of parcels just now though so at least that's one thing done
