Sally, thats bizarre. I'd never used facebook and it let me on with no problems. Probably just as well, you lose days passing parcels and wonder where its all gone. Would have been nice if you could join though

Don't know why it won't work, i've added contacts and other applications with no problem, but would love to get involved with the discussions you guyz have about "could you pass me a parcel please?" or "I've got too much parcels to send." :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have no idea what these phrases mean, but just imagine it is a virtual game of the pass-the-parcel party game, and some people are lucky enough to win prizes!

Well, since you got the good stuff out... pull up a stool & hear me whinge!!

So, the story so far in case you missed it - in a nutshell - OH's mum is schizophrenic/alcoholic & is suicidal - we called out the crisis team today in order to get her sectioned into hospital and... we're still waiting!!

We called them at about half 2 this afty & still no sign of them!! It's just a good job we have been taking it in turns to go sit with her otherwise God knows what would have happened.

The last time she was like this we had a phone call from the Police to say they had arrested her as she was found on the railway lines waiting for the next train to come along & take her with it!! They ended up sectioning her that time.

And...exhale... I feel better now - where's that Vodka?!! :rolleyes:

RCB - you poor thing. I had a flatmate once who had schizophrenia and got sectioned. That was pretty scary dealing with it from a distance. It must be really hard when you are in the firing line. I hope the crisis team turn up soon. I guess they must be dealing with lots of problems after christmas but thats not really any help. Hang in there and hopefully tomorrow will sort it all out

aww, thats awful, can't believe they haven't turned up. I know public services are stretched but thats taking the pi$$. It must be so hard to have a loved one living with a disorder like that, i don't know what to say ... and as if you guys don't have enough on your plate at the mo ... shouldn't happen to such nice people, i always think that when people in the inn are having a tough time.

Well we are here for whinges, although to be fair i don't think it's whinging ... more letting it out x

Thanks purpledragon & LIttleJem - we have just spoken to the crisis team & they had 2 people to see today & OH's mum is one of them - so the other person must have been particularly tricky!

OH is there now, bless him & once she's taken in we can rest easy for a while knowing where she is and that she's looked after.

Anyway - onwards & upwards... tomorrow is another day & it will be a good one. xxx
