Gert I'm sure there will be a reason as to why he was going a different way home. When he gets home ask him, there is no reason why you shouldn't.

now please take your hand out of the chocs, you are doing it for you not him!

When he gets home ask him why he was going that route, see what he says,

I know there is nothing we can say at the moment to make you feel better

but please calm down, if work yourself in a state, he will say what he thinks you want to hear not the truth.
If you seem calm and collect he is more likely to answer correctly or you will have your wits about you to know he is lying.

He's in the RAC van now taking it to the garage.
I really don't know what to think or do!
Just chomped through a Flake and am now sat here! No idea what to do or think.......just hope there is a good reason, or the last 2/3 months have been a complete sham and he's lied to me again.

Gert - I'm sure there is an explanation, maybe traffic because of the weather etc. I really think you should just ask him when he gets in and the calmer you can be the better - for your own nerves sake!
