    I intend to practise

    Thrift
    Temperance
    Celibacy

That'll be the cause of all my troubles sorted then.
  • Great thread!!

    My aims are to:

    * Pass my driving test on the 23rd January - 4th time lucky. My nerves keep getting the better of me and i'm fed up of wasting money on tests/lessons when my drivings fine.

    * Pay off my credit card - £564 to Barclaycard

    * Save at least £4,000

    2. Lose some weight by portion control, not snacking and doing some kind of exercise each day.

study & start my open degree

sort out finance & save enough for a couple of cheap uk breaks a year

Declutter the house & sell any unwanted goods or post them on freecycle

    Oh crikey! Aims...

    1) To be DF by October. (Just done the snowballer thingy, which reckons on 13 months. Think I can beat it!)

    2) To lose 2 -3 stone in weight.

    3) To learn how to use ebay for selling, and to use it successfully.

    4) To totally declutter, and persuade OH that he doesn't need to keep 15 years worth of anorak-type magazines! (this is the hardest of the lot!)

    5) To be successful with our adoption application. (which probably relies quite heavily on the other aims being completed...)
    Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
Overdraft - £2668 - to be cleared by February 2010

    Wedding - 11 September 2010:love:

    Great thread, my aims are:

    1. declutter home, lots of things can sell on E-bay/Amazon (need to know how to set up seller 'thingy' first). All monies into saving for some F&F with creditors.

    2. Keep jogging and staying less stress (find running helps me with this!)

    3. Pay as much off my debts at possible - want this noose looser round my neck

    4. Don't buy any new clothing this year - make do with what I have

Have lots of other little goals, but those are the major ones.

    Good luck to all.
