    Hey everyone!!

Not gone into work today as feeling a little run down, headachy and generally run down. kids gone to childminder still so having a chillax this morning and then this afternoon (once my battery is recharged) am going to tackle the ironing pile and kids bedrooms.......

well, went up town yesterday and got some good bargains. Just about to cross a road when an old lady started saying something to me. Not being completly in (;)) i thought she was trying to tell me i had dropped something!! doh!! she was actually telling me that the energy trust were just across the road and for signing up to recieve info they were giving away free silver panals to go behind the radiators and elec saving plug for the tv!!!:j:T:j so i did!!!:D

Also went into booths and found some baby stuff reduced as they are no longer selling the particular lines........i got huggies baby wipes for £1.55 each, small cartons of the milk ready made (useful for the hols) for 14p each, some kandoo wash mitts for ds1 for 99p each and some pampers active fit nappies for £3.50!!! luckily they were size 5 so the next size up from what ds2 is in now!!!!!!!

Had the check for ds2 from the health visitor, he now weighs 10kg!!! (22lbs) my little chunk!!!!! bless him. And i am no longer purreing everything in sight and trying to give him the food we are eating. So far the casserole type dishes are going down well as can use my tattie masher, thinking of trying him with some fish fingers tonight...........just need to find inventive things for lunch.........

Ohhhh, I HAVE JOINED THE SLOW COOKER GANG!!!!!!! my mum had one given and she didnt want it so i have got it!!!! whoop whoop!!!!! no instructions with it so it will be a learning experience. This means i can now go back to my meal plans even when working as can just bung stuff in the slow cooker in the morning, will have to prepare the stuff the night before though or wont have time to do all i need to do in the morning.

Had my hair done again last night, am blonde again and feel slighlty happier now. :p Dont think i will try and go darker again, try every year and never feel happy with it. She has done such a good job with the cut, am growing my hair and its at that really horrible stage where it just touches your shoulders so flicks out at the bottom.

Right, off for a catch up on everyones elses diaries,

  • yaya.gifHello everyone. i thought seen as we are coming into a new year i would start a brand new, sparkly fresh diary!!

a bit about me, (for those who have not read my other diary) i am 27 and mother to two boys aged 4 and 4 months and live with my partner in the lake district (think mint cake)

i work as a nurse and am currently on maternity leave (due to go back in march) and my fella works as a hgv driver.

i wont post up my soa as it hasnt changed since i put it up on my other diary but will re-do it when i go back to work and know what my wage will be.

now the depressing bit, my debts................................this is my list of debts:
    • Egg cc @ 0% - £2015.00
    • Hbos cc @ 16.9% - [strike]£792.77 [/strike]EDIT: £1203.31 inc laptop
    • Hbos loan @ 7% - £9784.73
    • Mil loan @ 0% - £3000.00
    • Next @ 20+% - £619.67
    • Dfs @ 0% - £2066.00
    • Overdraft - £1750.00
So my total debt as of 28 dec 2008 is: £20,028.17!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (well a little bit more as not added the £400 on to it yet)   EDIT: £20438.71 inc laptop now.

My wishlist for 2009 is to:
    • clear the credit cards, next card and reduce the overdraft
    • lose about 2 stone/ fit back into my size 10's
    • remain stepford wife like (begrudgingly) when go back to work
    • pay all bills on time so no black marks when it comes to renew mortgage in november.
So to start off, my weight at the moment is 11st 3oz. will weigh every saturday morning and report my ups and downs!! (fingers crossed more downs than ups)

so here is the start of my new journey....................... everyone welcome!!! the kettle is always on!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Rags

Just caught up again with your diary, your doing really well, don't overstretch your self and make your self poorly though.

Has Home bargains opened in kendal yet, hav'nt been into Kendal shopping in ages as Lancaster is near me, might pop up in the half term though.
  • Hey miemie and welcome back!!!!! very strange but was thinking of you the other day wondering if you were ok?!!!

Nope, home bargains not open yet, lots of builders singing in there at the mo though:p

Right, will have to find your diary again (assuming you have updated it) to see what you have been up to!!!!!!

    Hi Rags.
started a new diary on the savings board,i stopped posting for a while was really down as my dad had died and i guess i did'nt want to talk about it and needed to cope in my own way, but on a positve i'm debt free thats only happened this past month as i recieved my inheritence it really hurts to think i have used some of it to pay off debts feel like i have let him down in a way, but i know he would'nt of wanted us to struggle.
