  • th_sunsmilie.gifGood morning everyone, feeling a bit thick headed today..........nothing to do with the bottle of wine i drunk at the party yesterday..... :D on a good note, a friend was there who i havent seen in ages and she has qualified as a hairdresser (and a very good one at that!) and said she will do my hair for me!! yippee, was due to have it done at the hairdresser (£58) on wed but she said she will do my cut and highlights for £35 or so!!!!! Having it done on thurs night at her house/my house. Bliss!!!!!! my fella is happy as saving £20, but not paying that off debts, gonna leave it in the bank for the overdraft.

Well have paid the £20 off egg1 from the scratchcards and the loan hasnt gone out so will be paying off the quad and putting the £100 to egg2. Whoo hoo, that means i have paid over £700 off the debts so far!!!!!!!! will wait till i have paid it before i update the ticker.......

   got a letter through from the door people (think "you buy one you get one free") saying that there was an error on the original agreement (that has taken what 3 weeks to suss out) so to get the finance we have to resign the forms and send them back meaning the doors wont be put in on fri. If we paid for them straight out (credit card or cash) then we can still have them in on fri.............my other half really not happy bout being messed about so have rung a local company who we used on our last house to give us a quote. Our next door neighbour is a builder by trade said the amount we were quoted was a lot for 2 doors so we shall see. Hopefully we will be able to shave some off the price but it will have to go on the credit card (apr much cheaper on the cc than the finace anyways)

Really can not be bothered with anything today, house is looking a bit of a tip but just havent the energy or motivation to do it. Am also supposed to be finding the cheque book that has vanished and posting the last of my ebay items but nope, just sat on the sofa browsing on the internet.........................................ds2 asleep and ds1 at the childminders so making the most of the quiet time.......................................................

coffee.gifneeded badly, early night for me i thinks.........................

  • I also worked out over the weekend that if we pay £50 a month the the credit cards then that debt will be gone in 9 MONTHS and if we pay £50 a month to the mil then that debt will be cleared in 15 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hello rags - hope you have had a good weekend! Good about your friend being able to do your hair for less!! and hope the party was good!

The debts being cleared in that time is good aswell! and i bet you will be able to pay a little more of with extra like from ebay or what ever! I really need to get some of our cc on a 0% deal as its going to take us so much longer to pay it all of!!

I should be doing things aswell but just cant get bum of the sofa!!

Hope you sort the doors out! And get a better deal then before, they shouldnt muck you about like that!!

  • :j My click and scan thingy works now!!!!!!! had to re-install the software to my pooter but am now up and running!!!!!

:j And got an email from postal survey saying they were sorry ii had not recieved the first pack, to ignore the one i have just been sent and they will send me out another pack with instructions and stamps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think you are allowed to keep bum on seat mummy, what with being very pregnant and all!!! mine is self inflicted so trying now to make an effort. Have wrapped my ebay parcels and me and ds2 are going to walk to the post office after his lunch hoping the fresh air will get me going and blow the cobwebs away!!

Me and the oh have decided def not going to get the doors from who were, just been and looked at next doors and they are pretty good so will wait for the firm to ring me back re a date to come and measure. Means putting it back on the hbos card at 16.9% but needs must and at least its not on finance at over 20%!!!!!!!!!

Even the advert for that company is annoying!!

I can well understand where you are coming from about bottle of wine. OH and I had a couple of bottles on Valentines Day and it was first time I had had a drink in over a year.........3am Pip feed was not pleasant!!!

Need to contact Royal Mail cant believe they messed up both of ours, I think we must have registered on the same day, maybe they had a glitch?

9 Months is fantastic to get rid of the CC well done!!

  • red_balloon.gifGood morning everyone! Well the car has gone into the garage this morning to get the heating fixed, a new spring on the front and to have the breaks checked as yesterday they were far too spongey for my liking (but oddly they were fine today........ ) so may turn out to be a dear do. Thinking now that the doors may have to wait and get a new car instead as only had the car since late august but already spent a grand fixing it after today..............................cant and wont keep throwing money at it.

So with the car in the garage, may not have the extra £170 to throw at the debts, have £90 in the bank for fixing the car but it may be more, will have to wait and see.

Not much planned for today, catching up with housework (i did none yesterday due to thick head) and must start the iroing pile. Its quite a mild day here today so ds1 playing out in the garden (so happy he is not in front of the tv as always!!)

Have put ds2 back onto the number 1 milk as really was not taking enough milk with the number 3..........hopefully in a couple of days he will be back to gulping it down and sleepingthrough again (wanted his bottle at midnight last night) fingers crossed.

right off for a coffee.gifbefore i start on the housework (need to figure out where to start....)
    love rags
