Its good if you write a list down as then you feel you should try hard to get as much done as possible!! so it makes you do a little more!!

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Good morning everyone and thanks guys, this is all theroetical though, as im sure there is things i have left out and the income is only a guess too at the moment. If it is right then i will be upping the payment to the mil to £100......
Paid my first £100 to mil last night and she was genuienly shocked and kept asking if we were sure we were ok this month.......bless her. Explained that we werent paying council tax this month so its fine, then had to explain we pay ours over 10 months so get 2 free months as her face said it all!!!! she thought we were not going to pay it to pay her back!!!!! :rotfl:
well dong well on the ebay front, sold 7 items now and have made (before ebay take there cut) just under £17!!!! another 5 items finishing tonight and 1 item has 4 people watching so hoping for a last minute bidding war........:D Need to get back into taking the photos so can list when have any free time.........................
Me and my fella were talking last night and saying we have done well paying off a good amount off the debt so far this year and that why didnt we just do this in the first place to save for what we wanted, and we used to struggle like mad every month when i was working full time and only had 1 child to pay for............we are going to try really hard to not go back to that.................we now know we can live (albeit not lavishly) on half my wage and still pay all the bills and over the min amounts on the debts so there is no reason to struggle.
i give you all permission to kick me up the butt if i slip and go back to how we were!!!!!!
hope you all have a good day,
love rags

you are doing well and i feel the same - why didnt we just save for a mth or two to get things we wanted and not put them on the cc!!! I am going to try my hardest to never go back that way and to try and save a little even if we are not wanting anything - so you can give me a kick aswell and i will you if we start to trail of.......
Bet your mil was very happy at you paying of some of the debt!
Well done on not putting any one though - you have to look at the positives! When you are back at work and rushing around like a mad mummy you will loss loads!!!

cheers mummy, my mil was happy as i think she didnt think we were going to pay her back for a long while, i am happier now that i have paid some off as i know she knows we are serious about paying her back. and its more off our debt total!!!!! hate having some of the debts with none payed off (apart from the sofa as dont start paying that till oct and cant make overpayments, only pay the whole thing off and its 0% so want the others down first)
start paying for the doors next month and will be paying £40 but can make overpayments up to £79 a month...........if i do have all the excess a month i will be overpaying it, or putting money to one side to pay it all off once the year is up. Think thats what the a+l account will be used for now. will squirrel money away (my fella doesnt have a clue what goes in or out so wont really notice) so will be a nice suprise for him when we can pay it off!!!! if just paying £40 a month off, will have paid £400 by the end of the year which means saving £140 a month to beable to pay it off at the start of next year!!!!! (not adding the interest so a little more) think that may be well out of my reach along with trying to pay everything else off too..........
aahhhh, see i sdaid i will have forgotton something, and the door payments is the thing!!!!:mad:December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

i am getting so much better with my cooking skills, last night made a gorge sausage casserole with added carrots, onions, peas and cannalinni beans with mash and cabbage and today, instead of throwing out what was left of the mash and cabbage i have added them together with some red onion and corned beef and turned them into "patties" (watch spongebob to see what patties are) i know its not much but pretty good for me!!!!!! ooh, nice cheap meal................December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

just checked my banking and my loan repayment doesnt seem to have gone out this month..........will leave it till next week and if still hasnt gone out (always taken out round the same time each month) then will throw it at the credit cards!!!!

Have now had the next account transfered so thats all debts apart from the loan, overdraft and doors at 0%
my corned beef and red onion patties were lovely but have been suffering with really bad indigestion since, instead of sipping a nice glass of wine i am swigging gaviscon!!!!!!! such a lady!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Have a great day!! Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
