Smarties i had someone say they never received something once so now i always send recorded on the hope that will be better and if things go missing it can be tracted quickly..the fact they paid well over the odds for a in the night garden puzzle makes me think she realised and wanted a refund.....

Yes i think your right and also Ebay is crap. I had someone not pay for an item and we cannot even leave them feedback nemore, so they got away with not paying. Ebay has changed lately.

I shall sent everything recorded now me thinks x

Unless baby clothes have a really good brand name like Next, Monsoon, Osh Kosh etc they don't seem to sell well. People have to pay quite alot for the postage so there seems to be the mentality that "why should we pay much for the clothes?"
Personally I would try selling them in your local paper (ours does free adverts for items under £75).
You wont have to pay any fees, your profit is all yours and there is no having to drag the stuff to the post office.

    Good luck Ebaying x x
  • my local paper doesnt do free adverts!! most of my stuff is next or george so if i do big bundles should be ok, am not charging anything for p+p in the hope it gets my stuff shifted.

well been to work and found out i cant have set days!! but rang the tax credits people before hand and they will give me a little bit towards it, will still have to pay out £500 a month but its better than £800 and only £100 more than my guesstimate.

    Hi rags

Just had a thought do ASDA and Morrisons still let you put adverts up for items you want to sell, (i know Tesco do here), think it is free and you dould maybe sell some bundles of baby things or heavier items that way, hopefully won't cost anything and people will collect them.

    Take care miemie
  • Been doing my sums again, and have paid £273 off debts so far this month as i totally forgot to add in my loan repayments!!!!!! so will meet my target if i pay £60 off my next card. Not sure what debts i was thinking of in my original plan as i keep forgetting about my loan as the payments come out by direct debit.

I know i wont exactly of paid off the amount stated as havent taken the interest into consideration, but still keeping my log of totals so should be able to add it up at the end of the year!!!!

nothing has any bids on yet from my ebay, and not many people looking either, hoping it will pick up once the end of auction gets nearer..........

Ahh well done for paying that much off hun, i don't think ppl start bidding until the last day or 2 in my experience neway. I have a brand new DS game on there thats £30 in the shops, no one has bidded yet - i am hoping they will as it has only 3 days left.
  • well the weaning is going a little better, ds2 is eating more than he is spitting out now and gets all excited bless him when the spoon is coming towards him!! couple more days on baby rice and we should be able to start him on some fruits and veg.

he is still waking at 4.30 every morning, but this morning, my fella forgot to turn his alarm off so at 3am off it went, but he kept pressing snooze (after i had woken him i may add!) so have been up an hour earlier than usual and really feeling it............ could just curl up on the sofa eating crap and not doing much.

my ebay stuff had a few more people viewing but not many and no bids.......each item has only had about 2-5 viewers.....hope it picks up soon.

off out to a meal tonight for my mums birthday so wont be a no spend day but wont be spending much, just deciding whether i can be bothered to go do a shop at aldi or not???? (am known to be like a bear with a sore head when i am really tired)

might pluck up the energy later to photo and list some more stuff on ebay.......

strong and sweet coffee needed first me thinks,
