SM - I've got 7 years between my two and there was a time when I was as desperate as you! I actually spoke to my Health Visitor (not that she was always much good - no kids!) and went to an Assertive Discipline course, only to find one of my friends was there as well. It was actually very good and taught us a lot of the Supernanny sort of stuff. My two are now 24 and 17. I've still got the book, so if you would like it, pm me and I'll stick it in the post. It suggests all sorts like reward stickers, marbles in jars etc. I printed off vouchers of different values, and they could trade these for rewards, so obviously a bigger reward like a new DVD would be worth a higher total value. Poor you SM I remember those days well, you have my every sympathy
For my first HH I unloaded the washing machine,
hung suff on rads/bannister (duvet cover) and airer,
S&S bathroom and kitchen, though both need a good old scrub really
Shifted some stuff off the dining table hotspot
told my friend I'd call her back
found DH's watch in the dogs bed
and put the recycling in its appropriate place rather than it having a party on the corner of the worktop, where it was gathering
Phew....
Might do another one later.... maybeLBM 26/12/08

Morning all!
Wow! I've just brought the ironing down from my bedroom, and there's only 11 things in the pile! I was sure it looked bigger than thatEasily doable today (even with my slow ironing skills!)
Tilli and scrooge - welcome (to the madhouse!!)
Dusty - hugs - good you got to see GP quickly though.
It's freezing here! There was still a bit of frost on my car when I got up - I don't usually have to scrape the car when I get up for work, so it's very unusual for it still to be frosty that late!
Right, where's my list ......... ?"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
