ragz - just give the bit you took out a good scrub with washing up liquid. Run a service wash on the WM once it is back in (and make sure you get it back in properly, or you'll be deep cleaning the floor...) on the hottest setting either just with washing powder, or if you have them, with soda crystals in the drum and vinegar in the fabric conditioner bit (no clothes though, although I do sometimes put my cleaning cloths in). That should get rid of grease (soda crystals) and scale (vinegar). When that's done, clean round the seals. Pigpen's tip for cleaning the drawer, which is fantastic (and I'm passing on to everyone) is to put it in the DW if you have one.

After the service wash, make sure you reset the temperature to a low one, or you'll be shrinking everything ;)

    Morning all

I'm so fed up, I'm ill again, earache temp just feel grim. I've been to the GP this morning and got some ABs. I walked straight in - amazing. GP tried to talk me into having ABs which I know I'm intollerant to (he said you haven't had them for 4 years) so I said no - I'm feeling ill enough already thanks! He agreed to give me some I know I can tolerate but said he didn't know if they'd work aswell. Pharacist said they would and that I should never have the ones I can't have again.

DS3 still not great - I get the feeling it's going to be a long day.

We have friends coming this evening for New Year, I feel so grim but can't cancel with it being New Year.

JJef - glad you enjoyed the ice skating - how old are your DDs? It's amazing how it comes back to you isn't it.

Thanks greenbee, I did run the thing under the tap (still not convinced it's a filter) but I have already put a load of washing on, don't think I could bring myself to run it on empty.
Can't find TD filter now, OH and I cleaned the condenser a few months ago, it was soooo clogged up so hopefully it's still fine. I did clear up the large pile of fluff from beside it though (I tend to take fluff out and fling it beside the TD as it's in the porch so I can't see it! Ended up with enough to fill a pillow!)
Don't have a DW so no need to do that.
Do you all write out your lists on paper or just keep referring back to here?

Thursday.. As it is New Years Day I'll let you have a day off.... but your dailies need doing!

Was being lazy yesterday so cleaning the bathroom later and will change bed when OH gets up then try out my soapnuts again. Am delegating kitchen floor, window cleaning and dusting to OH. Hamster will be cleaned out when she wakes up because she was biting OH earlier and I don't want little teeth marks in my fingers.

Am relaxing today with a couple of movies because I sold some dvds to musicmagpie so I'm watching them before they get sent off. Have already dropped off bag of unwanted stuff at chairty shop and been to library. Just have to organise my study material later and I'm good to go for 2009!

((HUGS)) I know how you feel, I went through a phase of nearly murdering mine on a daily basis and they're only toddlers, how old are yours?
Have a cuppa, sit down/lock yourself in another room (with a cloth, just incase you get inspired to clean something!) and take yourself away for a few minutes.

  • Morning All :hello:

Frosty +++ here! Children whipped into shape this morning. Piano practice resumed, all dressed and breakfasted. Just me to do now!!! Then it's off to stomp with the pooch round the park!

Also need to shop today, the fridge is a little bare.

Toots spraying it out the window is a great idea. And Pigpen under normal loathing circumstances I'd ignore it till it went away! But this particular perfume is identical to the Body Shop's 'White Musk' Which I HATE with a passion untold.

My Dad's old girlfriend used to bathe in the stuff, I've never smelt anything so bad as that woman!!! You could smell her about 3 weeks before you saw her, IYKWIM!!!!!

So it's the association which is as bad as I find the smell. :D

Okey doke, off to get a drink for DD3 before she kills the kitchen!!!!

See you all later - post Doggy Stomp!!!!

Thanx ragz, they are 41/2 and 2 1/2. And completely out of control, I just feel like crying most of the time. They are so exhausting, even more so now that I have started a PT job(evenings so I have NO chill out time now!!)

I really need to get this sorted out, if I dont someone is going to end up hurt or in prison its that bad..... I am so scared that one day I will really hurt them!!!

Sorry for the melodramatics, just feeling sorry for myself!

  • Oh Dear SS. My DD loves The Body Shop's White Musk and I quite like it too, which is why I bought her some as part of her Christmas present. :o We won't be visiting yo:ou any time soon! :rotfl:

In my HH, I've reloaded Tumble Dryer and Washing Machine, prepped the coffee pot, SS's the kitchen and the shower room, dusted the study and adjusted the tension on a pair of curtains that I've been meaning to do for 4 years!:o

I'm now going to see if I can rouse DS and put the coffee pot on!
