and I HAD to go as hubby wanted to check he was OK to drive (broken hand! ) as he has to get to work tomorrow which is a 2 hour drive away then when he gets there he has to drive machinery.... AAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHH!

Flower - just a warning but, when I broke my arm, I was told not to drive until given the all clear from the hospital and physio cos my insurance wouldn't be valid if anything happened!

My parents arrived just as I was about to tackle the study, so I'm running a bit behind... if I'd known you were all going to spend the afternoon finding old posts to thank I'd have suggested that you come down here and sort my study out (or go and visit supergirl who may well get lost in her DDs' room and reappear in another dimension!)

Hope you've all found some interesting stuff out in your wanderings anyway!

New slow cooker is on with casserole cooking for supper. New hifi is now in place in the study, but there's no way I'm going to be able to work in here tomorrow (oh yes, and I've had to relocate the laptop so my parents think I'm doing something constructive rather than entertaining myself with news of your antics!).

hex - I don't want postage thanks... I'm trying to kick off a 'pay it forward' chain reaction, so if you guys pass on your spare vouchers to your friends, then it all helps. And I'm sure that there have been people on here who you have done favours for in the past, and probably will be again!

I put another batch in the post this morning... jjef & jayjay, I need to pick up some more at work on Tuesday and will do yours then. If anyone else wants them (to recap... 20% of at B&Q between Jan 3rd & 18th), then PM me your address... I'll keep sending them out for as long as I can get hold of them).

Right... I'm off to find somewhere really obscure to post and confuse you :p

Well so much for good intentions. Got the washing done, but plans for the afternoon disappeared. I spotted that 'The Steamie' was being shown again on TV (Scotland only) I must have seen it at least four times already - and on stage, but it is such a lovely story I had to sit down and watch it again.

    Well, I have done a HHC today!:j :j :j
Didn't get loads done as have been nagging DS as he is 'doing' his room and also had to put spuds in oven, prepare veg, etc for dinner, but I have cleared a spot on the bed and clothing is going away slowly but surely...

Off for another HHC at 5.30 if anyone wants to join me!...

Thanks Froddy - he hasn't got it in plaster or anything and was told by the hospital to rest for a while and not to go to work, but he is a stubborn mule and insists on going, as he has only just started there and doesn't want to let them down, plus he only gets SSP if he doesn't go in and I think he wants us to keep on track and not slip back again - I've nagged and nagged and so did his mum, but he won't listen.... I'll let him know about the insurance though, see what he says then...;)
