Morning all (the few of you who are awake and about so far today ;) ).

I'm not feeling verly lively, so I need to find some motivation and get going. I thought I'd start with a quick S&S in the rooms that are passable, before tackling the spare room and study which I can barely get into.

I suppose I should have some breakfast and get dressed first though ... and maybe have a think about Pigpen's list for today. It might make me feel a bit better.

Summer - hope things improved. You know we're here if you need us

Tilli - don't know what you mean... there was no drunkenness going on here. Supergirl's need for parrots and bed is purely co-incidental :rotfl: . Anyway, congratulations on your transformation, and lets hope it's just the start of an clean and tidy 2009

soappie - glad to hear your don't have a leak, but I think you should keep investigating, just in case. And well done on the sausages - I think you should be comparing the costs with the ones your local butcher makes, as that's the kind of quality you're achieving

Right... off to find food... and make a plan

    1. That there are a whole bunch of you out there who are there if I need advise on anything and that now and again I can help out too.
    Remarkable thing that changed me
    1. I learned that I was not just a cook – I now have ECDL, a that I really enjoy doing something entirely different and that at 54 I am not too old to take on new ideas and training.
I have a couple of stressful events coming up in the next month but the anchor that this thread has become will help me get through them so much easier.

(((hugs))) to you summermoon - no questions just concern for you.

Currently sorting out socks which I chucked upstairs out of the way before Christmas. The kids have mounds of sock and pants/knickers so there shoukl never be a problem finding some - so why is there? - may be something to do with the big bag of socks or 2 which were waiting to be paired.

Hugs summermoon - hope things are better this morning - PM me if you want to chat.

    Morning all

I've given the kitchen a good wipe down and tidied up in the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs. No washing today - since DD2 left I don't have enough for a load every day. It's weird.

It's not white frosty out today but the ground is still rock hard so it must just be a different kind of frost.

Off to catch up with the thread.

Morning everyone, and a Happy New Year to you all!

I was awake for the New Year (OH and I were watching Kung Fu Panda - OH's Christmas present to[strike] himself[/strike] me), but I fell asleep halfway through and was too tired to post before bedtime. I will have to give pigpen's task a bit of thought.

Off to find some breakfast after a nice lie in this morning. Still have a headache though even though I wasn't drinking.

No real plans for today. I was going to catch up with some more washing, but after the line about washing your family away, I thought best not to (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol). Will have to do some other kinds of flying.

Catch up with you all later.

My New Year's resolution is to try to be more positive and moan less often.

Hugs to you all, and I look forward to another year with my flylady friends!

LOl, I have several sock mountains too, it's OH's biggest complaint about my housekeeping skills, that he can never find his socks. He tries to insist I count them into and out of the machine, my reply to that is that if he wants to be fussy he can wash his own damn socks!

Tilllitot - My Step-mother is a reiki master, she's really good and it's done wonders for her. (Where in Kent are you? I'm in East Sussex.

Managed to have a shower and get dressed, put last bits of washing on the rads and tidy a litlle bits.
Youngest DS is putting the toys away for me (he's only 16 months!)
OH finally out of bed and we are of to in-laws now so have a good day all.
