    toots - he throws silver coins in before he walks in, supposedly it's a first foot tradition to bring prosperity, shame it's always him as he gets in from work :) I do remember one new year returning to a friends after work and her jumping on top of this guy as he went to walk in her house first and she didn't want him being the first person to step in her house (first foot) so she floored him :rotfl: As for finances thing, if I can help I will, GC thread would be a good idea to start.

    Just had to send DPs friends GF a message (the one who helped us decorate the tree :D ) because someones just told DP he's in hospital so waiting to hear back from her, wasn't expecting that this evening, hopefully he's ok, he'd recently had a delicate operation.....thinking from what they have said it's a complication from that.

    Going to get off to sleep, well try to, goodnight all xxx

    Night night!!! I really must go to bed otherwise I'll be here all night getting emotional :o The good news is that my worktop is looking pretty good, so I should be able to do more [STRIKE]displacement activities[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]rearranging my junk [/STRIKE]organising of the utility room tomorrow.
