Finances all up to dat and grocery challenge completed - well under this month  not sure how that happened.

I'm signing off now to go and sit with my dear daughter who asked if she could stay up to see the new year in and as its just the 2 of us tonight I've let her.

    See you all in 2009
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • I've had a kip, and have woken up bit! Just in time... so should I open the champagne now, or at midnight?

ragz - TAG has the most comprehensive list of dailies, so you can nick that... I don't have any (apart from getting out of bed and either wandering over to my desk or dragging myself into the office), but then I only have myself to consider, so it's not an issue.

Me too... it makes me realise I really haven't done anything with my life this year... (which one of my cousins reminded me about at Christmas... apparently last NYE I stood on their kitchen table and resolved to get a life...)

I suppose as I haven't got round to going to bed yet (for a change  ) I might as well stay up for the anti-climax...
  • C'mon Greenbee get in the spirit!!

    Best happenings..
    1. Rejoining the employed ranks.
    2. Moving house.
    3. finally deciding to finish the degree .
    4. having a new niece safely delivered into this world .
    5. To not have a family funeral this year
    Remember most from this thread

The fact that i dont have to post daily, but have a network of friends who if required would give me instant support and friendship, who have provided me with inspiration to tackle my problems this year in the knowledge that some of my problems are very small compared to theres and they are an inspiration so please keep posting.

    Remarkable thing that changed me

That someone who I know for a short time in my life was killed this year in Afghanistan that has changed my views on war and our armed forces, and how I dont take my own life for granted as I realise that those I know are not guaranteed to survive.

    Gosh this has been hard.
