I really need to get this sorted out, if I dont someone is going to end up hurt or in prison its that bad..... I am so scared that one day I will really hurt them!!!
Sorry for the melodramatics, just feeling sorry for myself!
Sorry you're feeling so bad chick. I suppose it's cold comfort, but I feel like that a lot too. Remember the "go to your room" option! I know it doesn't solve everything, but it does give Mummy a moment's breathing space before you go 'POP'
And you've no need to apologise, that's what's great about this fred isn't it... we're a community, and we support each other. (((( hugs ))))) to you from me. xxxMMSSB Club Founder Member

We're doing nothing tonight even though OH has the night off work because he's a New Year humbug. Although he is taking the living on £4000 a year thing more seriously than I first thought - I got delivery pizza last night and he commented on how that wasn't really in the spirit of moneysaving -well until I gave him the evil eye:rotfl:"I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better." Well I am going to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy New Year as I am about to be bumped off the pc.
I've loved being a part of the thread and look forward to sharing whatever the New Year brings.
Love Valli

DP came back and has taken battery off my car, see if charging that overnight gets it going as the voltage had dropped. Might only need a new battery. Fingers crossed!
skint_chick hamsters are nibblers, hence I prefer ratties, but some don't like the smell of men, it's the same with many animals. They can also smell fear so if he's afraid of being bitten, he probably will be. Washing his hands just before he handles it would be a good idea, he can also try rubbing his hands on her bedding first. NEVER distrurb when they are in sleep mode, if you have to use a cotton bud to stroke her first (then you don't get nipped)if she doesn't react stroke her back, never go towards her from her face back as that's threatening seeing a whopper of a hand come towards you, if you didn't know it's intention, you'd probably bite it too. If they feel threatened in any way they will also bite so putting a hand out for them to climb on rather than picking up is also a good idea, cupped hands not grasping at all. Vitamin E can cause agression, they supplement all russians in a group I was part of to try to combat this. Allow her to wake properly before handling her.
Typical I get my first request to homecheck for a rescue as my car is playing up, but DP said I can use his, never done it ''officially'' before, just for the rescues I have taken on, what a special joblooking forward to being part of a little animal being rehomed into their forever home
Haven't got very far with the housework, washerload and dishwasher emptied/refilled so far is about all.One day I might be more organised...........
