Good luck at the dentist SFH, I always feel nervous going, then end up in the chair for no more than 5 mins!!! Hopefully you'll be in and out in a flash (and back in time for Pay your bills
).
Thanks to skintandsad and DaisyMac aswell for your messages earlier. I've been mulling it over ad have just cancelled my Lovefilm subscription, only saves me a few pounds per month but onwards and upwards!!! I know there are a million people in a worse off position than me, and luckily OH has a reasonably paid job, so hope he can help abit (more!!) aswell. I knew it was going to be hard being a SAHM with no money, and I don't even know how it happened!! Money should have gone into my account from OH and FA and there should have been enough to cover my bills! The annoying thing is I was meant to be going back to work part time on the weekend which would cover me, but OH's work changed their contracts to make them have compulsory weekends which are on a shift pattern, so that makes getting a job very hard to fit round, even though it would only be a few hours!
Sorry for my essay, totally not the place to put it, but needed to get it out!!!
Hope you are all having a lovely day

I really feel for you Lucy, both my Dh and I work and we still cant make ends meet so it must be terrible for you, we have done everything we can to save money, basically I have had to come to the conclusion that if everything essential is paid, ie Rent, Leccy, Council Tax etc, anything extra gets paid when it can, ie if I havent got it, they cant have it !. Worrying though. I have loads of new money saving plans, check out the Money Saving Old Style thread on here, it has saved me a fortune xx0 -

Oh no. Its awful isnt it. Yep, join our duvet club...how i hate wood floors when you have no heating! Hope yours is repairable and you dont need it replaced(so expensive)
I know what it is - Had exactly the same fault with exactly the same model in August when I rented the flat upstairs. Luckily, then, the landlord paid, but now I'm not in rented I'll have to pay myself. I've used British Gas who say they'll repair anything for £152 for joining their £2 a month Priority Call Out service. I'd be happy with that.. It cost my LL £400!0 -

Do you have a contract? You should insist he pays! I had my LL pay for my boiler repair in the last month of my contract in August. He'll be in breach of the Tenancy Agreement if he refuses. Contact your managing agent if you have one.Jan just keeps getting worse!! I saw those, or something similar, in Homebase last night. Wasn't sure how easy they were to set up so went for a little fan heater. I have toasty toes at the moment!0
