Well, BF came back with what I needed, plus got a bag of oranges, which will be nice he spent £8.81 which will see us through until the weekend, when we will need to get some potatoes (the ones in the shop looked horrible apparently).

Tonight we're having roasted veggies with sausages. We have some swede leftover from Christmas, so will be chucking that in with some tomatoes, carrots, peppers and a little onion. Plus will do some peas as well to go with it. Then will have some warm fruit salad for afters.

Since I moved I have found that the ASDA will accept my Electron card, and will also deliver. Bonus I thought, but I am still waiting for the delivery today. ITs now 3 hours after the 2 hour allotted slot!. will it ever come. I know that we have snow but the roads are clear I was out at 8.30 and they were fine? Mind you the spend is a big one, with the babies nappies and wet wipes etc, coming in at around £140 I belive. We will see if it actually arrives.

Another £1.59 for milk (2L local stuff) and £1.04 for haggis slices (local, for freezer for DS/H when I have veggie haggis on burns night), from small local shop (I like to support the small shops in the area every now and then, instead of lining Tesco's pockets all the bloomin' time ).

Don't wait any longer-phone them! Log in and see if your order is showing as pending. If its disappeared then sometthing has gone wrong with your payment. not trying to panic you but this is not normal for Asda!

I have rung them, 3 times now. They said the shop would be back to me, just put the phone down to them, finally ringing me, to say that they are running a couple of hours late becuase of the weather! I said that this is now 3 1/2 hours late, and that when they are supposed to ring me back they didnt. Now they are going to ring the driver and find out where he is (Again), but this time they are going to see if they can refund my delivery charge. So at least that will save me £4.50. But I am not impressed.! lets hope they are here soon, we are just about out of Nappies!!! With two one year olds we need them!

  • As it's my first post in the January thread - happy new year to all! :)

Can I be put down for £40 for Jan please? Although I will be trying to stay as far under that as possible! If I were doing the GC from payday to payday this would be a 6 week month!!!! So things are going to be pretty tight this month after the overspend that was Christmas! (Although I don't think I did too bad considering!)

Hope 2009 turns out to be a good money saving year for everyone!
