saturday- bacon, mushroom and olive pasta (using loyd grossman sauce) mmmm
sunday- out shopping so either eat out or buy something nice for tea

saturday - steak and chips
sunday - chicken and veg
monday - herring milts on toast
tuesday - mince with veggies and dumplings
wednesday - stew or soup
thursday - liver onions mash and veg0 -
Today - pesto chicken with the last of the rubber chicken from Wednesday
Sat - chicken curry from freezer for DH and DD. Chickpea and potato curry for me (make several portions for freezer).
Sun - was going to be shepherd's pie, but DH reckons he wants to make something cajun, so leaving him to it!
Mon - sausage, bacon and eggs with baked beans and slimming world chips
Tues - beef stew (make extra for freezer) with pots and veg
Wed - spag bol (bolognese from freezer)
Thur - gammon steak with veg and pots0 -

Can I please add my meal plan too.. I'm new to all this. This plan is from tomorrow to Friday:
Sat: Cheesey Apple Pork Steaks with Chips and Mushrooms
Sun: Roast Dinner but instead of a joint we will be having minted lamb meat balls.
Mon: Don't Laugh!!! A meals on wheels microwave meal that my mamma made me have as she couldn't fit the last two in the freezer! lol
Tue: Spag Bol
Wed: Breaded Fish with New Pots and Veg
Thu: Mushroom and Bacon Pasta
Fri: Not sure yet as we are going to see a band and have to leave at 5.30 but I don't finish work til 5.30, DP is off allday though so may get him to make something (stew) and put it in a flask for me to eat on the hoof.:love:11th March 2010- Got engaged to my amazing fiance, planning our wedding for 20120 -

Just got back from a New Year break and catching up with my favourite threads.
My kids DS1 (13) and DS2 (10) originally turned their noses up at the thought of the recipe but soon changed their minds when they tasted the leeks before the meats went in - will definitely be adding this to my repertoire (sp?). Left the chestnuts out though as there weren't any in my storecupboard!!
My meal plans didn't go accordingly (part of being away) so I'll try harder this week

Still now I've found it which is good news as I've managed to do a plan for this week but will need the inspiration for the coming weeks:
Fri: Chicken burgers and potato wedges
Sat: Meatballs with tomato sauce and spaghetti
Sun: Eating out since it's my DS's birthday
Mon: Macaroni cheese and sausages
Tue: Cheese and crackers (I have a night class and will only have about 15 mins to wolf something down)
Wed: Gammon, egg and chips
Thu: Kedgeree then shopping for the following week0 -

Tea/coffee (milk for LO) or water to drink.
Puds will be HM cake (Banana, Cranberry and White Choc) or plain yoghurt.
Snacks will be bananas, apples, raisins, clementines, carrot sticks or celery.
Sat: Toast and OJ; Tomato soup; Spinach and cream cheese lasagne from the freezer - small portion so had chips and roasted veggies with it.
Sun: Toast and OJ; Egg mayo bagels; Leftover stirfry and noodles.
Hubby packed lunches all week are soup or cream cheese sarnies; yoghurt, apple and banana.
Mon: French toast and OJ; Parsnip and apple soup; Jambalaya (from freezer as donated by MIL)
Tues: Pancakes and OJ; Parsnip and apple soup; Tuna and sweetcorn spaghetti.
Wed: Cinnamon toast and OJ; Parsnip and apple soup; Bean chilli and rice
Thur: Cornflakes and O.J.; Cauli and potato cheese; Fishfingers, peas and chips
Fri: Porridge and OJ; Cheese and nut scones; weekly shop done this eveningLove and compassion to all x0 -
