Josey, have the same problem - mine was fine for a few weeks, then the monsters had a twiddle and it squeaks on low tension. Fine on the higher tension though which is odd.

The LTT do this too! I've cooper greased it, WD40'ed it! Still does it! But that's chain based. I have to have a hair band hold it on the highest tension otherwise it works "loose" !!! Apart from that.. it's perfect! :D;)

Chair one looks like a garden lounger - and in my house would most likely end up being used as one!!!

Hi, the ab lounge can also be found on mochea.com:

    http://www.mochea.com/productdetails/CatIDx7/ProdIDx116/ab-lounge-2-1x.htm

it is in the sale for £5 more, however, it comes with a dvd and special attachments so it can be used as a chair if space is short so you do not have to put it away for storage (not sure if the one on play.com comes with these extras- if so, v sorry!)

hi everyone, could use some extra help on this topic please.

I'm after a stepper which also does the sideways motion like the LTT. But I want a machine which is primarily quiet to use. No squeeking or anything please!

With these two objectives in mind, is the one from play.com my best option? Does play.com have a risk of charging customs tax now for items over £18?

The Play one looked good and is on tubes rather than a belt - my squeaky Rebok is on a belt system, I just got fed up of waiting and went to Argos after a couple of weeks. The squeak is from the friction off the belt so for noise you should go for a tube one like the Play one.
Dont know about the £18 bit, no tax charge on the one that got delivered weeks late but that I refused to accept.

Computer monitors: scan, time, count, total count and calories used. Unique twist movement helps trim inner thighs and tone outer thighs. Non-slip footplates. Adjustable step height.

£34.99 plus p&p but used voucher from voucher board and had free p&p and £10 off so £24.99 :D

    Hi,
I ordered this stepper on 16 Feb. Shortly after they debited my bank account with £38.49 even though when I put it through the checkout with the voucher it went through at £24.99. It said delivery would be by 14th March, that has since changed to 8 April. And even though i contacted customer services and was told they would refund my £13.50 I am still waiting for this too  Basically I am just wondering if you, or anyone else ordering this was having similar problems?
BTW thanks for posting this - it should be good when I eventually get it :T

I ordered this one too (with voucher) on 11 Feb. Customer services have also told me the refund will show up on my bank statement (it hasn't). The designated delivery date was 7 March but they failed to deliver. I have been given a new date of the 18 March but reading that you have been quoted 8 April I think they are stringing me along seen as it's obviously a supplier issue. I don't mind waiting for product as long as they only take my money at the time the item is ready for dispatch (like amazon). Otherwise they are just earning interest off my money which would be earning interest for me in a savings account! I think I might cancel out of principle.
