I bought the lateral Swing Stepper in July 2005 for £49.99. I don't think they ever sold it for £99.99. But it is a good price compared to other sites and the steppers they flog on the telly.

Sainsburys have the lateral stepper for 25 quid in their fitness sale. It is very very similar!

How similar? Does it have the side to side movement as well as the up and down?

Must admit I was rather tempted by the sit-down abs trainer.

    sound like luxury.:)

I bought this very stepper last summer and it is fantastic. This from someone who has in the past bought and dumped every fitness machine going:rolleyes:

However, I just seem to 'get on' with the stepper. I now do 5000 steps every morning (takes me about 25 minutes) and I have lost 39 lbs so far (still more to go though).

I am seriously tempted by the sit up ab thingy, but wonder whether that will go the way of other past fitness machines.

Just one note - the stepper shown here is a pneumatic type and the ones shown on telly sales adds are the Lateral Thigh Trainer (LTT). The LTT is a lot larger and harder to store (my sister in law has one). Also the LTT is a chain operated thing rather than a pneumatic operation. (Sort of like a bike chain under the frame of the LTT). I guess it's just personal preference, but just to warn you they are not all the same.

Thanks for your comments. Could you tell me the one you are talking about (the play.com one?) that is pneumatic. What does that mean? Thanks! x

  • Great post !

Thos 6 second abs things though, can be picked up at those chepo shops and large markets for under £20.

I would love to see how use wholesale system works, as these things start on TV. Then end up in the shops similar to poundland (but for more of course)
