I too stayed the same this week, upping my exercise next week and will get the swiss ball out to tone my baby belly.
i have 15 things listed on ebay, only one has a watcher, there is still time though, half finish on monday so may have a late flurry then! any tips on how to describe items to get interest, thinking that may be my problem now the clothes look well nice on ivana-be....... what have you called yours sharron??December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

I will do you an example Rags of the kind of advert I would use for Ebay.
VERY PRETTY, BLACK LACE ANGEL TOP - NEW - SIZE 14 - RRP £45
RUCHED NECKLINE (CAN BE WORN OFF SHOULDERS), DOUBLE LACING OVER BUST AREA, WAISTED TO GIVE ULTRA FEMININE SHAPE, LONG ANGEL SLEEVES THAT FAN OUT INTO BELL CUFFS. FABRIC HAS ADDED LYCRA FOR COMFORT, WEARABILITY, EASY WASH & WEAR. DOES NOT REQUIRE IRONING.
I have pointed out the good points of the top; The fact I paid £45 for it so people realise they are getting a bargain; The fact it tapers in, giving definition to the waist; it's got added lycra so it always springs back to shape and it doesn't need ironing...always a good thing.:rotfl:
I haven't put where I bought it from (which was Kays) but that can help if it's a decent label such as Next, River Island, Zara etc
Good luck for Monday, you still have time to get some bids...try changing the title of the items so more people get to see them. This top had no watchers or bidders until I added Goth/Emo to the title. It wasn't bought as a gothic top but I thought it might appeal to those that like that kind of thing.
As soon as I changed the title, I got 5 watchers and three bidders within 24 hours. I think you have to experiment until you get it right.
Lmao @ your poor hubby Sharron, I can just imagine his face...blow up doll indeed. Men can be so cruel. :rotfl:
My debt free date??? Hopefully the end of the year or very soon afterwards, I am very focused this year (after three years of threatening to do) so fingers crossed as long as work doesn't wear me out lol...we are on target.
I am working a 22 hour shift tomorrow due to staff shortages, I know it's not strictly legal but I like the money and work is desperate. Can't leave the little chickens on their own now. So I will try & catch up on Monday.
I've got my fingers crossed for your Ebay sales girls...good luck. :T

Morning all
Thankfully the snow had gone. Makes dog walks not so messy...and walking to work a lot safer. Yesterday morning I walked home after my shift and fell flat on my bottom...how embarrassing and what stiff cheeks I have today lol.
Nudy Rudy Rags lol...love the name. I know my dummy caused a lot of comments when she first came into the house, her pert bust in particular brought forth a lot of innuendos.
Thank you but no I am not an angel, I need the money and they need the staff so it works both ways. I must admit I was totally cream crackered yesterday and did nothing all day. It also made me tearful and crabby, so unless it's a dire emergerncy I shall be just sticking to one shift per day.
How did you do with your Ebaying Rags? I have another listing day planned for tomorrow but I only have a few items to list. I really need another wardrobe culling session before the weather gets warmer and winter clothes and boots stop selling so well.
I have paid a few more pounds off our Cap 1 Card today. £30...but it all adds up and takes pennies off the monthly interest.
After doing nothing yesterday I have a busy day planned. This includes: dusting the lounge, hoovering through, cleaning the upstairs bathroom, catching up on a weeks worth of washing (30 degrees and drying on airers of course), change the bedding, dye my roots, have a bath, homemade manicure & pedicure, two hours of degree coursework, another unit in learning to speak German and finally I will be listening to my relaxation CD. I have been putting it off for about two weeks but it really makes me feel chilled and optimistic. I should ensure I listen to it everyday to help keep my stress levels under control...it's probably one of the most important things I can do for myself, however it just seems too much of an effort to put my earphones on and press play at the end of a busy day. But I deserve to feel good, so I have promised myself...I will find the time to listen to it daily.
Well I better get off and get busy...have a tiddlytastic Tuesday y'all.
Love Bams x0 -
My god bamby, what a busy day you have planned!!!! i feel pooped just reading it:rotfl:
My ebay went ok, 4 out of 7 items sold and for the min asked, have got another 3 items ending tonight, one has a bid and 1 more has 2 watchers and the other i dont think will sell, then have 5 items ending on wed and only 1 item there doesnt have a watcher................... my fcuk top didnt sell which i am very suprised about, thought with it being a well known and pricey name it would def off gone.......oh well, will revise and relist.
glad to hear you survived your mammoth shift..........December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Well done on your sales, definitely revise and relist. Just a few different words can make a difference to whether your item sells or not. Yes, I am surprised your FCUK didn't sell...the credit crunch is really hitting Ebay too.
I have just been to the doctors to collect a prescription and I told the nurse while I was there I was hoping to lose 61lbs this year, so I was planning on making an appointment with their dietician. The nurse weighed me and said 61lbs weight loss would take me to an unhealthy BMI and I should aim for 45lbs loss which would take me to a healthy BMI weight range (23).
I am so pleased, as I only have to aim for 45lbs weight loss instead of 61lbs lol.
I better get cracking, it will be summer soon and I don't want to be getting my chubby knees out again this summer. :rolleyes:0 -
hey bamby, you seem to have turned into an how to sell on ebay tutor......you should charge!!!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Hi all, wanted to say bamby just to be careful about working double shifts it can be bad for your health. DH used to do this a few years ago and it really affected him(and us), i swear he was close to a nervous breakdown, at the very least he was depressed. He was so tired and short tempered, he put on loads of weight (eating at odd times). I think when you work against your own body clock it's your mind that suffers the most. Although i tottally understand why you do it;) You are so close to being debt free, and i suppose the finish line is in sight.
Well nudey rudy has been dressed in various outfits and photographed, i just need to find a spare minute to do the actual listings. Don't seem to get a minute lately and i swear i'm meeting myself coming back!!! Been helping my neighbour with Ebay (she's an ebay virgin, although she's done really well out of it). Also had a lot going on with ds3, i am despertly trying to get him moved to a special school that would be better equipped to deal with him, but dealing with agencies is a minefield and know one communicates with each other  .
Well thats good news Bamby about not having to loose as much as you thought, god i wish someone would tell me that!! Pleased to report a 2lb loss this week, only 32lb to go before august:eek: . Pulled all my summer clothes outta the wardrobe yesterday, and as expected nothing fits, felt really p1ssed off after that. Might stick the lot on ebay then when i get to my goal of a size 12, get all new, then again maybe not........
Anyhow, enough of my ramblings. Hope everyone's staying warm, no snow here but it is cold, the cat had to be defrosted this morning when she came in, she had little icecles on her whiskers, she's nice and warm now.
Lots of Love SharronSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Morning peeps
Well done with the weight loss this week Sharron, the way you're going you will definitely be at goal before you know it. :T
I don't think I could be an Ebay tutor Rags, I get too ratty with wittery sellers, peeved off with Ebay fees and fed up with people whining in the post office queue about "bloody Ebay" lol.
Just got in from a night shift, had a yummy bowl of porridge (made with half milk and half water), and while I had a burst of energy I have prepared tonights stew and made a batch of mince bolognaise for the freezer. Next on the agenda is taking a cup of tea to bed to watch Jeremy Kyle until I drop off to sleep. (I do love my trash telly.)
The last few days have been quite hectic, I have either been working or studying.
Money making/saving wise I have: added to our penny jar, put my name down for two more extra shifts at work, eaten free supper at work, checked my bank balances, CC balances, completed about 20 surveys, posted 5 Ebay items, been thrilled that O/H has worked three over-time shifts, paid a bit more of Cap 1 card and catalogue, put £45 in my Isa, received a refund from Weight Watchers from about three months ago (£9.95), took my course books to work rather than buy a magazine and done some bulk baking.
Today I am tidying up and then making a menu planner for next week so I can empty the freezer and cupboards before we do a big shop...other than that I will be having a nice chill day...hot bath, lotsa trash tv and stew and dumplings for tea.
Swell it has been nice chatting but I gotta dash...Jezza will be on soon (what a prat he is)...ah well bubbye. x x0
