    Hi all,

Mary, I can understand your post. It hasn't happened to me yet but my parents have a workshop full of boxes from 2 houses ago!!

I'll have a go at the house book - looks like fun.

Soul Collage cards- it is a very big website, I can't put on the links on this MSE site, some reason my computer won't do it. But you can have a free newsletter, I've been having one for years.

You make cards to represent different sides of you.

I originally found out about it via a site called Vision Lounge (or a similar name) which is massive and all about journalling and art. That's where I found out about altered books. I also liked assemblage but never tried it. There is a whole seperate site related to that about a fictional place called Lemuria and all the art and creative writing projects relating to it.

There are some fascinating parts to that site including a lovely page of virtual chocolates LOL

Christmas - I made some raffia crochet ornaments but will have to stop after making 3 as it really aggravated my arms. I've had a rsi type problem for years after a spate of 6 hrs daily crochet sessions years ago making things for charity. I have a feeling my crochet/knitting days are over.

During my stash sorting this week I discovered loads of plastic canvas so can use it for those hanging cottages we talked about.

    Anyone else use raffia?

This pairs game uses fabric scraps but you could easily use paper or ribbon etc http://inchmark.squarespace.com/inchmark/2009/1/12/fabric-scrap-memory-game.html

Christmas tree pencil toppers but could easily be adapted for christmas tags or added to christmas cards or inserted into christmas floral displays or pot plants http://missyballance.typepad.com/crafty_carnival/2006/11/pencil_toppers.html

Thanks she grinch, there are some lovely ideas (to add to the list of 1001 christmas projects for 2009 LOL).

I might make those felt trees.

have read this thread for the last hour - love it! still haven't finished reading it but I'll go back later and have a look.

Feel inspired now to get started for next year now. Will give myself a project on the 25th of each month and a deadline of the 25th of the next month to get it finished.

    Thanks all.

Princess83. The only way I have managed to post piccies on here is to upload them to somewhere like photobucket (and if they are huuuuge then resize them once you have uploaded them :D) Then copy the 'direct link' on the pic in photo bucket and then click on the icon that looks like an envelope in the bar above near the font icons and paste in the link. You should then be able to see your picture once you've posted. Hope that makes sense - am not the best at giving directions :D
:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin
