she grinch - love the santa ornament and wouldn't that make a lovely little christmas gift bag..................found myself drooling over a bit of cream fleece in the charity shop last week and I didn't get it !! Would have been ideal. Think at this rate I'll be making a dammit doll for me..............:rotfl:Mary

Haha you could always use a piece of fleece scarf too if they have one in the charity shop, I was in our local one today and noticed that to by a handful of garments to chop up was more expensive that a few metres of fabric from the market so I guess I will be off to town at the weekend for the fabric stall! They want from £40.99 upwards for mens shirts now and I get a metre for £3.99Pucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

she grinch =£40.99 upwards
There's often cushion covers, quite nice ones, place mats, all sorts in the charity shops that I could concoct something out of.
Delving in my spare wardrobe yesterday to find something to cover a draft stopper I found a lovely sort of velvet patchwork top............got to be something I can do with that. I'll never wear it again -never really fitted right.Mary

OOPS:D slip of the finger I meant £4.99 but I thought this was expensive for each shirt in the charity shop as I needed more than 1 to chop up.....................
I want scraps to make some of those gift tags and some scrappy trees, think I will ask at work for any donations to my scrap fund hahaPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0 -

Hi, I haven't done it on this site, but I'm guessing it's done through the boxes that are at the top of the reply box. There is a yellow square with a mountain on it and it asks you to put in the URL of your image. So I would take that as from your online photo album.
Is that right everyone?0 -

I would like one of these for winter walks with my husband so I think it will be going into my stocking!!!!;)
I got something very odd when I pressed this link, not the pattern at all but a load of stuff about computers0 -
She grinch, I love that santa ornament, I can see so many different uses for it. Lovely.
Today I'm sorting all my craft supplies and prepared some different coloured raffia to take to my craft club to make an ornament. Few years back I crocheted a snowflake like that using a big hook and it turned out lovely. I want to make more because I realised this Christmas that I have overdone the red and gold ornaments so going to do some a bit different.0 -

Also Instore had some lovely wool at £1 a ball, I bought two, can't knit but trying to do a scarf without knitting.
Also Dunelm Mill ( think that's how you spell it) have some gorgeous bits of material ends that they are selling off really cheap. some nice cushion covers at 25p each!
Oh didn't know if anyone would be interested in this link or if someone else has posted it, but thought i'd let you all know about it
