a tennis ball wrapped in box or gift bag or cello along with this poem

    ----The Ball Of Life----
Suffering from stress: Fondle it constantly.
Need to relieve your anger: Throw it at someone.
Short of a massage: Roll it around the bottom of your feet.
Lack of communication in your life: Tell it your inner most secrets.
Short of a good friend: Paint a smiley face on it.
Needing some unconditional love: Throw it at a wall, it will always come back to you.
Want to be less selfish: Lend it to someone when your not using it.

Want to be aware of others, want to become more thoughtful: Look after your ball, try to understand how it feels to be kicked about, stood on and given away and abused.
Want to be less judgmental: Be happy with this gift, it's the thought that counts not the cost.
I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

  • Great ideas Jetty, I think I might be doing some chocolate bouquets this year for Christmas, think that tree is a great idea too. I would like to make a small gift for each of my colleagues at work, 16 of them, snowman soup might be fun but I like so many of the ideas you guys have.

Has anyone ever been to America and had a chocolate 'turtle'. It is nuts and caramel in chocolate, you can make it look like a turtle but it tastes yummy either way. I looked up instructions for them but you are supposed to add paraffin wax to the chocolate, put me right off! I can't imagine doing that, is there anything else that would have a similar effect but is a little more like food?

This is a link to the pics and recipe!

  • Here's the contents of a journal jar I made tonight.

    SDC10640.jpg?t=1254956558

The jar was a pound, the diary 50p, the pencil case was 35p, the contents of the pencil case were 50p. Lovely present for under £2.50.

Here they are wrapped, just waiting for my ribbons to arrive.
