Found an idea whilst blog hopping earlier in the week and had a go at making one yesterday, it's a coaster calendar. I covered a blank coaster (but you could use a beer mat) and stuck on a tear off calendar from Docrafts/Anita's (99p for 10). I've just ordered some little magnets so I can stick this on a fridge. Am going to make several of these for presents as I love the idea. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Have you looked on Play.com - they have a few bits and pieces of Twilight items inc charm bracelets and keyrings that aren't too expensive(free delivery too) - they're not as nice as this one but maybe you could use bits of these to make a nicer one ?

rainmac - what a brilliant idea :T Think I'll have to have a go at that.
Saw some place mats in charity shop this morning -50p each, individual ones with different designs and couldnt think what I'd do with them............hope they're still there tomorrow..........I could do a bigger calender and get one of those stickon things for the back so it would hang up...............:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hello everyone!!
I'm Jen, 23, and I live in Sussex with my husband, almost-4-yr-old son and daughter who is 2 on 9th September.
I've read right from the beginning and I'm feeling so Christmassy now! I have got so many good ideas, thank you.
At the moment I'm doing a cross stitch of Sonic the Hedgehog which I will frame for my Mum, she's always loved playing it! I'm also knitting a cowl and fingerless gloves for my cousin, have started a quilt for my newest cousin (born in April but was due in July!)
So far I plan on making:
Sock monkeys
Vinyl bowls with some sort of music trivia game and some alcohol
Felt play food for my children
Doll clothes for my daughter
Jewellery for aunties
Christmas Eve hamper for us and our 2 children
Pots of gold
Snowman soup
Dog biscuits for my 'hairy sister' (parents dog lol!)
Stockings for the 4 of us
Decorations
Need to think of things for a few people still but I'm getting there. I picked up lots of books and little figures for my son when Woolworths closed down (10p each!) and a book in WH Smith sale for another cousin. Also managed to get a few packs of mini sparklers for 29p each, not sure what they will go with yet. Started decluttering my living room today and found some Christmas cards I bought and lost 2yrs ago so they will come in handy.
I really want a nice, tidy, stress-free Christmas this year, no staying up until 4am Christmas morning wrapping! I'm going to do the Organized Christmas Holiday Grand Plan starting this weekend. Also decided against our usual Christmas Eve dinner (13 people the past 2yrs, crammed into our teeny 2bed flat ) I don't want to be rushing round again trying to tidy up after everyone leaves and before the kids wake up!
120 days and so much to do....
