Hi I have just bought this download to make nativity fridge magnets for my 4 grandchildren. Not done this before but I hope that it will work if I just print it out on a word document directly onto magnetic printer paper. I bought the paper at a local discount store, QLM, it was £1 for 2 A4 sheets and the images were less than $5 for the whole set. cute eh?

    Hi all

Just thought I'd pop this thread out there http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1867589

for those of us who are giving voucher so money to some family members - they look relatively easy to make and might be a nice way of presenting them.

Am off to try and find some paper I like to cover my nans diary in.
    Time to find me again

one of my friends has chickens and she has named her chickens after the chickens in chicken run. I found this cross stitch sampler kit on ebay which i am going to make for her xmas present and get it professionally framed. The sampler is called "The Orginal Chicken Run" which i think would be the prefect present :)

thanks for that link i found this on there
which i found a sweet little gift:

A cup of tea to 'share'
'I made these for friends and family, and they went down really well!
    What you'll need:
    1 tea cup and saucer
    1 flavoured teabag
    1 mini teaspoon
1 individual size cookie or shortbread snack
    Clear cellophane
    Ribbon
'I taped the teacup bottom to the saucer to secure it. I put the shortbread, teabag and spoon inside the cup and wrapped them with cellophane. I tied ribbons and attached this note:
'On Christmas Day at half past three
Pour yourself a cup of tea.
I'll think of you, you think of me,
    Sitting 'round the Christmas tree.'

    Hi everyone

Does anyone have an easy to follow pattern for a lined purse? I'm after one that is simply like an envelope, but lined if that makes sense? Like those lovely little chinese money purses ones you can buy?

I know how I can make one but I'm sure there must be a super quick and eay way to make one.. mine is getting a tad convoluted in my head :rotfl:

    Thanks!

I finally finished my sisters christmas present from last year (oops!) she loved it when I gave it to her and thought I had bought it off Etsy (cheek!) So easy to make and could be adapted with any papers to suit the person I should think. I was actually so late she had forgotten all about it - I wish I'd known I'd have wrapped it up for THIS year :rotfl::rotfl:

Ack... it's not letting me letting me post a piccie from my blog. Been having trouble with my pc tonight. Anyway - it's a cheapish bowl covered in spiderman images and then covered in sealer to make it glossy. It's here if you'd like to see. If I can get images to post on here tomorrow I'll update.

Some brilliant ideas so far - keep them coming ;)
