sethsgran - those links are really good and 81ft for 98p!!!:eek::eek: hhhmmmmmm me thinks red, green and white will be in order so we can hang some snowflakes throughout the hallway too. and the boys can do their bedrooms as well if they fancy it. Thinking about it I have two big white sofa throws I could put on the floor in their room and might get some fake snow icicles to make it a winter wonderland and let them have a little tree to decorate themselves.
:eek::eek::eek::eek: god this christmas will be hard work :eek::eek::eek::eek:
must remember there's a baby in there too!Time to find me again0 -

Whilst out and about yesterday I saw a fab idea in a pricey little gift shop for a bottle bag. It was basically a sleeve from a suit jacket, with a shirt sleeve inside, cut off to fit a bottle and sewn across the bottom (near wear the elbow would be), the wine bottle just slipped inside nicely down through the cuff of the shirt.
They were charging £10.99 for it  But I'm sure you could make loads of different variations depending on what clothes you've got spare.

How about 2 ikea fleece throws, £2.50 each. Buy 1 in baby blue and 1 in ivory then make a No Sew Blanket. They are so easy and so warm

Oh I love no sew blankets. They have bunk beds too so could put them on there with some fake icicles. Am all excited for decorating their room now.Time to find me again0

How about using the 4 corners of fleece that you cut out to make some snowflakes to stitch on. The fabric won't fray and a simple running stitch in a metallic thread would do the job

i came across this link posted by sarah1979 on another thread for making your own crackers.... I had a light bulb moment and thought it would be good to do the turkey poop along with the poem inside the crackers!

Irish girl - how did you make the flower on the front cover - I picked up a pretty diary for my nan yesterday and its the funny shiny cover but I thought some pretty flowers on the cover would look pretty - the diary is purple - but wondered how you made it as i think its beautiful.
Just wondering if it possible to cover the whole diary in a non shiny cover instead.Time to find me again0 -
