hi Mrs McC I have just been scanning this lovely site and hope it isn't too late to suggest that you make some really lovely pillow cases and embroider your parents initials and wedding date on one side, obviously using the wedding dress silk for the cases.

I'm so chuffed with what I've been working on here. I'm going to be making a couple as Christmas presents I think. There are probably loads of tutorials online but I didn't know the proper name for them so if anyone is interested I might stick some basic instructions up a bit later on. (Sorry if someone has already put the instructions up ;) )

They are great, can I ask where you got them from, I would love to make one too, think they would make great pressies for the grandparents.

That's what I thought too. I made mine from little wooden blocks and am going to add instructions on my blog later (kids running around at the mo - can't think let alone blog *g*) But someone in my comments said that EKSuccess have them ready made to just add the piccies to. Not sure of their web addy though.
