Hey sally - the kids are good - they did very well for christmas and Sophia's got her birthday on sunday as well!! The house is overflowing with gifts!

William is doing well too - finally talking a little more and more people can understand him so that's great.

I am thinking of going to a hypnotherapist to get over my fear of heights in 2009, have you ever tried this for the driving? cos if it doesn't work I'll save my money or maybe something to think about?

you are probably right - he said himself when he booked a room at the hotel for his night out the other night it was because it was so much hassle with me not wanting to drive there, so he didn't bother asking me.

Great thanks hun, busy busy but had a lovely Christmas with family. Our house is overflowing too, My mum just went crazy buying presents for Bea.
Is William at pre-school now? Is he enjoying it? Can't believe they will be act school in Sept :eek:

I did think about it skint - I did some reading on the origins of phobias and I can pretty much nail down the 2 incidents it stems back to, 1 was on my first test and the other was literally the first drive after my test. It has just got worse and worse over the years and I am now very hemmed in to a very small handful of very short, well-known journeys.

I was listening to something on the radio the other day and it seemed worth a try. My heights thing does interfere with my life a bit and stop me doing stuff so I think I should at least try and get over it. maybe if you can talk to them about the incidents they can get you through it - mine is irrational and comes from nowhere!

and I really want to take DS skiing!

I know!! He's too little for school!! lol

He goes to a childminder and the primary he's going to (hopefully!!) doesn't have a pre-school. The childminder does lots of social activities though, so he's used to lots of people.

anyway, now I've been a complete whinge bag, I'm going to go and turn on the TV and see if there is anything on.

I'm trying to plan for a neutral birthday and christmas gift buying 'thing' for 2009. I have £35 of 'free' money in an account from Quidco at the moment and I'm determined to do as much as possible for free. I think I managed about 75% of birthdays and Christmas gifts in 2008 and I want to see how I do next year so I'm hunting bargains for my £35 at the moment. I've got 3 gifts so far for 2009 in my present drawer!

There will be someone replacing him before it's time for Christmas again. You'll find someone on the south coast easily.
