itunes/ipod trouble

Media Monkey is one. I haven't used i-pods, but it should be possible to simply drag and drop files using Windows Media Player. This is what I do using my Cowon.
Unless you are actually going to buy music, there are always other options than using i-tunes. Good luck.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.

Many thanks - are they reliable?
I too struggle with iTunes, having used WMP no problem, till I purchased an Ipod.
Will have a look... Thanks.

Is Xplay3 worth buying?

Error message comes up saying, 'mass storage device detected' what ever that means.
Been to friends and managed to get some music onto ipod, however the wretched thing wont play now. Click on song required, it either goes back to another song or it changes song and it doesn't play. The icon flashes up to show it is playing. The volume is turned up and the earphones are plugged in. Any ideas?

Ipods are made by Apple. Apple also make computers (an alternative to a PC) which is called a Mac, ergo Apple Mac.
Ipods/Itunes probably have some kind of DRM (digital Rights Management) it's a bit like a copyright. It is there to stop you from copying songs that you haven't bought and being able to play them. I would recommend copying a CD or downloading a song from a site that is DRM free (Amazon for example) and trying that.
I don't have an Ipod, just a cheap MP4 player!.....0 -
