    Hi DC,

    Attached is a link:-

    http://www.diet.com/store/facts/british-heart-foundation-diet

I tried this with a few friends a good while back and we all lost over 5lb each in three days. I think it is a good way of kicking off your metabolism when weight loss has slowed right down.

The good thing is, it is not very expensive, and you don't feel too hungry on it, and it's over before too long. Plus there is the ice cream to look forward to ....

It's not so good if you don't like the food on it though. Fortunately I am a fan of beetroot, tuna, TUC crackers and ice cream etc.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

    WOW! GO SCROOGE!!!

I've been in procrastination hiding for the past few weeks, so not been near this board at all, but I'm extremely impressed. I really wish I could promise to update daily as well, but I know I'd just not find the time. But I'm definitely going to make more effort.

Keep going Scrooge, you're really doing all of us (that signed up on the first page and have given up since) very proud!
  • Thanks pandapaws, I have just come back from a lovely few days at Legoland in Denmark, with the family, and I am feeling very relaxed.

I managed to keep within my budget for the trip, but I confess to eating and drinking far more than I should have done and cancelling the gym class that I was supposed to attend tonight.

But, thanks for your encouragement. I WILL POST TOMORROW AND GET BACK ON PLAN. I PROMISE.

I have to confess September seems to have lasted forever. But I will be successful!

Picked up a great mystery shop for next weekend too. Manicure and pedicure at local spa, which I am really looking forward to.

    Remember:

    - Must complete mystery shop by 17.00 hours
    - Complete online assessment for new mystery shopping company

Not too keen on this mystery shop, will involve test driving a car, which isn't really my thing, but will get on with it.

Picked up a real mixed bag of shops this month, and have quite enjoyed most of them, if i'm being honest. That reminds me, I have to finish an assessment for another company today, will go and add that to the list.

Update: Well Mystery Shopping visit was surprisingly easy, online questionnaire very straightforward. Have signed up for another four of these as nobody seems to want them. That will be around £90.00 in the next week, not to be sneezed at.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
  • Wow Scrooge, well done !
The test drive would scare me a little, but £90, brilliant.
