    Not sure if it is a good idea to press on today. debating giving in to this chest infection or seeing if I can fight it off. Will opt for fight at the moment, just stuck an ugly concoction of fresh lemon juice, bronchial mixture and a fizzy vitamin C tablet down me.

    Ended up going to my bed for most of the day. Still did mean it was a no spend day, when originally it was going to be a big spender! Going to move hair appointment and gym clothes to next month.

    Just going to do what I absolutely have to today to stop life descending into total chaos, still feeling lousy.

    Done my menu planning and on-line shop - managed to come in at £40.00, which I am pleased with.

    OK day considering still feel lousy, had a bit of a banshee moment, when realised as fast as I was tidying up, everyone else was creating a tip. The troops rallied around a bit then, but I shouldn't have to lose it.

    Spent the time working through a complicated insurance claim, which will bring me in £100.00, so really pleased with that. Also converted some excess prawns into a fish pie for tomorrow, so that will save a couple of pounds too.

The weight is not shifting as quickly as I would like, so looks like I might have to try a drastic diet for the last few days of the month, we shall see ...

    Update: Just kept going and got nearly everything accomplished. Really couldn't be bothered to go to Gym tonight, but forced myself. Although the class was extremely tough, I survived and feel strangely energised tonight. Discovered I have triceps! Also for the first time my zip on the Adidas 3/4 length trousers, bought in fitter, skinnier times, didn't burst open. Progress indeed.
