    After all the hassle of trying to checkout when i placed my order on 24th, I got one confirmation e-mail and in my account on the boots site it showed one order but i have just recieved TWO "your order has been dispatched" e-mails and there are two identical orders showing up on the boots site! :eek:
    Does anyone know if they can still cancel the order or will i have to wait until it comes then return it all? I'm so angry, the delivery date says 5th jan and I really can't afford to be without that money for two weeks-ish when they would put the refund back on my card AAAAHHHHHHH :mad:

    Hi, Best thing to do is check on boots website if you had processed your order twice as sometimes emails are replicated more times than once (most likely by mistake).
    Go to boots website, under my orders and check order history, see if you have 2 separate order numbers which will then mean yes your order has gone through twice if you only have one then your order has probably only gone through once. Hope that makes sense.

    thanks for your reply, it had gone through twice but luckily it all came today so i will be lugging half of it to the shop tomorrow to get my refund!!!

    I got an email saying my order had been cancelled due to technical dificulties.. I'm so annoyed about it because I called them on 2 occasions to confirm the order had gone through okay & both times they assured me I do not need to worry & not to place the order again or it will be duplicated..

    I wouldn't mind but there was a certain item for my daughters birthday that I won't be able to afford at full price. I should of known really, I've had problems with every boots order i've ever placed!

    I had the same thing. I sent them an email complaining and they gave me some free Advantage points. Doesn't make up for it, I know, but better than a poke in the eye...
