That's great progress, another one who has really kicked their mortgage into touch and given me a kick up the backside. If I want to work part-time then I seriously need to put the effort in next year.0

Good Luck in 2010:T0 -
Well 2010 is here and only just realsied I have not updated anything on here since beginning of December - reading updated threads from everyone else but posting little!
Fantastic to read through the original MFi3 and see how well people have done, the update is superb.
We have opted not to join the the MFW 2010, having took part in the 2009 version which saw total repayments for the group of over £1M - staggering.
We are still working on getting savings pot higher after replacing the car, but will aim to increase OP's after April.
For end of Jan we should be at just over £115,000 which will be a good marker to break.RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004

Just submitted first set of figures for the MFi3T2 which will see our OP's since Dec at £1,300 ( although we are paying at a higher rate on main account than we need to !) and Mortgage position for march 12th will be around £114,500.
Considering some major changes in the next few months which should have major impact on this challenge.
Good luck everyone for the first updates, can't wait to see them !RosieTiger - Highest £242,000 Feb 2004

Signature retention posting before update. Paid some further funds off the mortgage and new balance now at £78,200.
Can't believe how long we have been away from the forum however, fully aware that June is the next update. Onward with the challenge ! Good luck everyone.
