  • Being fanciful as can't leave here, so not considering options seriously.

But voted "other" on the basis of my little yacht (departure from reality has begun) being wherever I wanted it. Dalmatian coast, Goa, Florida, Finnish islands, Galapagos, the Antipodes - damn it, I could even come home.

  • A few places I would go to. In no particular order, the USA as I have friends there and I do like NY. Italy as I love the food and the people (again I got friends there).

I do like the sound of 24 hour darkness in Norway though....

    Malaysia for me.
The kids are doing very well at a great school and I still enjoy tropical Telford so a few years away from now ..But it is on the horizon.

Malaysia is a wonderful SE Asia country to base yourself.
English speaking, drive on the left hand side, 240 phase, three pin electricity.
Quite well developed compared to surrounding countries i.e. pjillipines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos etc, but not as expensive as Singapore of Hong Kong.

Mind you with the pund plummeting, my money does not go so far

They do also have a great retirment option in the Malaysia My 2nd Home programme.
If you plan to retire in Malaysia, check out http://www.mm2h.com/

    Or Canada. Specifically Vancouver.

Same here, if I had to leave the UK. I'd rather stay here though.

Back home to Scotland, in a nice country place where my OH can have his chickens and veg plot! Or back to his home - Wales.
