my little sister did a 110% price match at pcworld to get a 42" 100hz 1080p 24fps toshiba for £490 so you can use the price discrepancy to your advantage.
They do the price match against online prices?
How do you get that?
The TV I'm after is

Ah, I see it

However there is a restrictionWe check our prices against major retailers and websites every day so you can buy with confidence.
If you find a lower price for the same product and offer, we'll reduce our price by 110% of the difference – even up to 7 days after purchase!
This applies to prices offered by retailers within 30 miles of your local PC World store.
The product must be identical, in stock and available for immediate home delivery in one of the retailers detailed below - single unit purchases only.
This price promise applies to:
Argos, Comet, Jessops, Tesco, John Lewis, Asda, B&Q, Game Gamestation, Halfords, HMV, Maplin, Staples, Toys R Us, Zavvi.
I checked and the price online is down to $550 with Martin Dawes while the lowest on the above list is Asda at £684.16. Even a 10% reduction from PC world would onlu bring it down to £615.74:wall:

There will be many more than 15 of those and they will barely get a mention except perhaps in the odd local paper.
We are the invisibles. No one notices until we are gone....but new ones will take our place over time.........and some of us may come back in a different guise....:D0 -

But do you still think that John Major really appeared on Spitting Image?0 -
I was in PC world earlier, must've been 5 staff to every customer. Had my eye on a Macbook but got so frustrated with the clueless staff that there was no way I'd buy from there.
Does anyone know why PC World dont reduce half there staff and pay a bit more for ones that have more experience?0 -
I bought a laptop in PC world a few years ago, the look of disappointment on the salesman's face when I refused to buy extra warranty was plain to see! It always struck me as odd that they would sell you a brand new piece of kit, then go into a sales pitch about how it might go wrong!0

I hope Currys goes down. They deserve it for their appalling customer service. I went to buy a tv once, and walked out because of poor service, and bought the tv elsewhere.
they treat customers like scum, and I hope they fail.
down with Currys. The staff deserve the sack!0
