Mind you there seems to be a little boys who aslo wants to be banned lol
I just have 3 prezzies to get so a trip to boots is the order of the day!!! and then I really must start the wrapping! Not one thing is wrapped, and the washing/drying and general cleaning I hope there are enough hours in the day lol....

oh no!! i'm sorry! i suppose i have worked loads of Xmas's in my years before in NHS24 and hotels, so have a few in the bank to have the day off, but i should spare a thought for those who have to work in hotels, hospitals, care homes, firemen, police, ambulance service, etc etc who are all working to ensure the rest of us are safe, fed and happy....
Speaking of hotels, not very DFW, but does anyone ever go to hotels for Christmas lunch these days? I never have cause Big G's family always did when he was young, so he's put off ever doing it again... i think it would be luxurious!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

I got woken up at 8am today but it was because the Heelys arrived from Amazon so have wrapped them up and will stick them in with DS's pressies. Didn't order them till Monday night so I'm very surprised and impressed.
Hope you all have a lovely day, I love christmas eve.
Our furry bodyguard is fab. Off to the pet shop now to get her a new christmas teddy to say thank you
Whoever he was took something yukky home. The reason we know he came in the back garden is that there are footprints......right through the furry bodyguards toilet area. Merry christmas whoever you are :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Our Heelys havent arrived, but I suppose they still might come today. Would be lovely if they didIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Wow! talk about karma!! that's ace honey!!
I too have a pile of washing, which i am trying to get sorted so there is no drying washing floating around for tomorrow...... never ending, and there are only 3 of us!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
It's not so bad, 2.30 finish today and 11.00am to 2.30 tomorrow. Which means I can have some adult pop tonight (since I'm not in at 7.ooam), get up at 6.00am and open the pressies with the kids. Come into work, not have to cook Xmas dinner, go home and eat, drink and be very, very merry!0

That sounds like he got what he deserved Spud.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
