Morning All

Typically the one day I don't have to get up and rush DD to somewhere she woke up early thanks to DH crashing around the house

Manic day here, must get on then I can chill later :)

We've not had much sleep here either Sally.

Someone rang our doorbell about 10 times between midnight and 2 this morning. I didnt answer it because I'm here on my own with the kids at night, but I did spy through the curtains. Bloke seemed to only ring at houses with no car on the drive. The dog went berserk at every little noise all night. Worryingly, it would appear now it's light that whoever it was has also been in the back garden.

DH said I should've called the police :o

Sammy, thinking about you this morning hun. Let us know what the doc says ;)

God how annoying Spud, I think I would have been crapping myself although just some idiot no doubt on their way home from a christmas party who has forgotten where they live!

Sammy hun, hope it goes ok this morning and try not to stress too much. xx

I was Sally, but our dog is so protective, and she has a VERY big bark. She even came up and slept in the bedroom, which she never normally does. I have to admit, when she wanted to go out in the night, I took the carving knife with me :o

Whoever it was had to climb over a wall to get into the back garden, so I doubt it was a drunken reveller. He certainly didnt look drunk. Me and DD watched him for a while, and he did appear to only go between the houses with no cars, maybe houses that looked empty

Morning all - god how weird Spud, but very brave of you to even open the door for the dog!

I am really not ready for Christmas, first day off today and I just want to spend it in bed. Kids have gone to nursery so I am spending the morning wrapping presents and then to see to the horse and then home tonight with the kids. Thank god in 48 hours it will all be over! x x

Spud that sounds awful, it's a good thing you've got that lovely, furry body guard! I got woken up at 8am today but it was because the Heelys arrived from Amazon so have wrapped them up and will stick them in with DS's pressies. Didn't order them till Monday night so I'm very surprised and impressed.

Hope you all have a lovely day, I love christmas eve.

  • Morning all. Spud that sounds awful! Glad you're ok though and no harm was done.
No plans for today other than off out tonight. All the girls' presents are done. Just need to take them up to Ste's for the morning.
Got to be honest I'm dreading it but oh well. Got to get on with it haven't you?
