Yes, Ozzuk. Rapidly. If Big Eric turns this appeal down, what appeals and escalation does he have left?0 -
Like I said - people don't seem to understand appeals and escalation. He is running out of both, rapidly.

European courts, even a vexacious claim has to be considered and will stop the clock for a while. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Exactly. That's about his lot left. He's been all the way through everything else. He's at the top of the ladder now, and running out of rungs, rapidly.0

Nonsense, he won't even have access to the ECJ unless the matter is referred by a UK court, and for obvious reasons a vexatious claim is not going to be referred.
The silly man is pretty much out of options, the amount of money he's invested in building the house and fighting in the courts would probably have purchased quite a nice house built legally somewhere else0 -

He got legal aid for all the court stuff, and the house isn't even his. It was in the paper years ago, its not even in his name. He is always one step ahead of them. The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0 -
He got legal aid for all the court stuff
I doubt that VERY much. Google certainly finds no reference to legal aid, and I cannot believe that, in the current climate, legal aid would be granted to somebody in his position, let alone for a case this weak.and the house isn't even his. It was in the paper years ago, its not even in his name.
I find that hard to believe, since he's the freeholder of the farm. But, if that is the case, then it's somebody else's house that is going to be demolished sooner or later. So who is the owner? His wife? A limited company he owns and controls? He is always one step ahead of them.
He thinks he is. What he's actually doing is just running up bills by trying his weak logic on every single rung of the escalation and appeals ladder that he can think of, drawing the inevitable out, and making his eventual bill ever larger.0 -
Eric Pickles rejects 'straw bale house' man's latest appeal.
"A man who built a mock Tudor castle and hid it behind straw bales in order to circumvent planning rules has failed in his latest bid to retain the building, with communities secretary Eric Pickles rejecting his appeal"
Is the end finally in sight?0 -
And the report goes on to say:In a statement, Landmark Chambers said that a formerly suspended High Court injunction order now takes effect, "with the result that Mr Fidler now has 90 days from the secretary of state's decision within which to demolish the building".
