Every time i see this thread I think "Yippe" its gone at last, only to find it aint.

And your motivation apart from envy being what?

Surely if you lived close enough to it for it to be an issue you'd know if it was "gone at last" without having to look on here?

Can anyone confirm is it still there?

Any news, what are we waiting for this time?

Thats exactly what Mr Fidler has done. The most amazing part of it all is he seems to have got away with it and he is allowed to keep the castle.

To hell with the "planning rules". They are there only to keep the land owning elites as just that, land owning elites (who got there land by death and violence in years past). The system stinks, and I for one salute this guy for taking a stand against the bureaucracy backed by violence that never benefits the ordinary person.

    No, not yet.

Does a view that is contrary to yours automatically indicate a troll? It's a fairly weak rebuttle in all honesty.

The guy owns his farmhouse acres and acres of land and has enough cash to construct a 5(?) bedroom house.

He is not ordinary in any sense. And YOU are paying for him to do it yet seem thrilled.
