Japan has about the same amount of land and twice the population of the UK.

Houses are cheaper in Japan and still falling.

The UK could double its population!

I reckon so, in the end. But the end could be some time coming.

Of course it will in the end. No house stands for ever.

But will it be demolished say in the next decade?
  • Oh roddydogs, I feel the same!

We had a planning thing where I live, but on a shop, and the guy then appeared on Grand Designs building in the Cotswolds (Ithink) and he didn't wait for planning their either!

These are mistakes, they are schisters who will do it all again. Pull it down now!

Frustrating though it is, our legal system (and that of the EU), means that he's entitled to pursue all possible legal avenues before the building is pulled down.

I've no doubt that the building will be demolished, but I'm happy for the "owner" to look at all his other options

After all, if it were pulled down and only then found to be lawful, the Council (and hence the taxpayer) would be lumbered with the compensation bill!!!!!
    Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac ;)
