Hi everyone!
I have only just realised that a 32" would be too large for the space in my bedroom and will actually have to look at getting something which is no bigger than 540mm x 425mm in total.
I think I'll have to look at 26" and below in size but they seem really expensive.
Can anyone recommend a good make, preferably with built in freeview, DVD player.....which I can start to compare prices on?
Also, as it is for a bedroom and will be viewed at an angle, I would like one which doesn't 'wash out' too badly.......(don't ask for much do I? :rotfl: )
TIA"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
Was told about this a few days ago, due to illness could be bothered to act sooner than today.
Am gutted now i can only find this for £342 as the cheapest price.
Knowing it was almost £50 cheaper a few days ago , is it best to bite the bullet and purchase one now for £350 or wait a little while?? Will the price drop back again do you think??
I am in no rush just want to upgrade current TV so no need to panic buy.
Cheers0 -
Hi, do you happen to know if that's a 1080, please? Thanks
baa 1080p sheep......lol, on a screen this size you dont need 1080p.....you wont notice the difference not even on blu ray....unless you are using it for a pc (but then you are better off with a high quality monitor)Stevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
Exellent TV and unbeatable price. Add £29 for 5 year warranty too.
On a 32" screen, the different between full HD and HD ready will be unnoticeable to the human eye anyway.
someone with sense.....1080p is only worth on screens bigger than 50in and above......unless you are using it as a pc monitorStevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
Should I get this Sony or the Samsung 32" that is on at a similar price at Dixons/Currys?

even though they are likely to have the same tv panel, i prefer the softer sony picture rather then the hideously overprocessed samsungStevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -

I don't think the price will come down now as all the retailers that i checked have increased their price, some of the retailers such as John Lewis had it for £299 & free delivery, on checking their website it's now out of stock buy the price is now £399
Have you tried Argos as they have it for £342.54.
It is annoying that it's now at least £50 more even at Comet they have put the price up to £379.99 from arounnd £320 :mad:You can't be lost if you don't know where you're going.0 -

I would still go for it. Even at £342 it is excellent value. I bought one a couple of months ago from Dixons for about £370 and still think it was brilliant value.0 -
PCWorld have it in for £349 and buy now/pay in 6 months (interest free).
Not sure if cashback is available or any discount codes, maybe worth a look.
