Sar is there any way you could stay over too ? You will want to see the girls first thing Xmas day I'm sure- would there be somewhere for you to sleep ? XXNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -

sounds like a half decent solution, are you happy enough with it?

Morning all
feeling a little worse for wear as I went out for our work christmas meal...rather a lot of alcohol was consumed and I climbed into bed at 1am...so tired today and sat here at work hoping I don't have any customers to have to be civil too!!
Just been trying to catch up on todays activities...
Snags hun, you know what its like to have a demanding 2 year old to look after, suspect he thought to reply, got distracted and hasn't had the chance. Or maybe he didn't get the text...they do go missing in text land!
Sar, big hugs for you hun, I hope that you can enjoy Christmas a little bit xx
Cat lovely scan
everyone else...MORNING :wave:I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Sar, if your not happy with the situation of xmas with Ste then tell him, you have just as much right to see your girls on xmas day than he does.
When i was little, after my mum and dad split up, i always had 2 xmas's one on xmas day with my mum and another on boxing day with my dad (it was alternated every year). Would ste be open to a suggestion like that?
Hugs to you

Remember honey, this is ultimately what you wanted re you and Ste, and this is a tough time to be in a relationship or out of one..... you guys are still friendly aren't you? you all seem to be coping with the break well..........
Christmas is still christmas for the kids, so make the most of it won't you? They're only wee for such a short time, there's a definite magic about Christmas with very young children that you should appreciate.... i know you won't be, but going thru the week in a half cut or hungover stupor will not be good for you or them...
but going out on Christmas eve sounds like a fab idea!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
