morning all, hope everyone is well.

23 December? 23 December?? It feels like late October to me, I just don't feel remotely like it is Christmas. Next year I am going to have to kidnap a couple of small kids, watch their nativity and carol concert and then give them back to their parents when it is time for present shopping! :rotfl:

Had a bad night's sleep, this is such a weird cold, it took me ages to get myself out of bed. Off to work in 5 minutes. Last day today which is excellent. Meat and supermarket food arrives today, the meat arriving always makes me feel Christmassy!

Today is also my last day at work until the 5th Jan!! Yippee!! I have so much to do tonight when i get home i will be like a headless chicken.

I know what you mean about not feeling like christmas yet!!

Morning people. Still have one poorly little one here! Up with a temp again! Just seems that someone is always sick in my house at the moment.
Can't believe it's Christmas eve tomorrow! Still not started prsent wrapping!!!!! I can see another Christmas eve job coming on!
Still got a few bits of food to get in ASDA - but going to try to convince partner to go!
i was going to try to take kids swimming today but not likely with poorley one! So probably will just chill at home

Tidy the whole house otherwise Santa wont come (thats what we were told as kids)

I am the same Skinty, had to get showered and dressed before I felt in work mode otherwise I would just slob about.

Things are going really well with OH and I at the moment and I just wanted to recognise and give credit to the good times, instead of just complaining in the bad:o

morning all......just got email to say we can finish at 1pm today!! Yipee!!

That will be me until the 5th of Jan too. Cant wait, so looking forward to this holiday.

Had a weird dream last night. Dreamt on a plane which had to drive all round these streets before it could get to the runway to take off, when we did eventually take off, we were shot at. Dont think we fell out the sky but I am sure i have had that dream before where we did. Woke up feeling really unsettled.

Car is poorly sick. Was in yesterday needing two new front tyres and front springs and when driving home from garage, got a warning light on and not enough power. Turns out the ignition wires have gone and they need to be replaced. Blinking expensive and money I didnt have. Not been able to pay any debts off this month

also want to have a bit of a reorganisation hmmmm.

but I am doing that I want Christmas eve to be perfect thing so headless chicken state here also

Awww Lou that's lovely.

Mine on the other hand is being rather confusing.....lots of late night from the heart talk about the future (initiated and lead by him I should add), and felt as close to him as I possibly could bearing in mind he's about 400 miles away.......and then this morning......NOTHING! Not even a reply to my text

I know it's early and it's not time to worry yet but we ALWAYS text to say good morning.

I'm not cross or upset.....yet.....but I'm doing a bit of this ---> :rolleyes:

morning all - hoping for a nice quiet day at work today so i can catch up with you all....

i feel like i've been reading, spouting forth with my opinions and bogging off this week when everyone has been feeling blue....
